spartanpilot
Hi guys I am new to the forum. I am in Afghanistan and I am looking to get a carving board to ride on groomers with my kids when I get home in Febuary. I am a goofy foot and have a an asymmetrical Burton M3 I bought new in the 90s. I had a burton backhill and performer elite 150 before that. I am 5'7" 43 yrs old and weigh about 180lbs. What kind of board should I look for to get into carving? I don't want to spend a ton of money. Thanks in advance. Pat

pokkis
Pick something like Prior 4WD or Donek Axxess, both should be easy to find here on Bomber and are very solid and not expencive
GeoffV
Welcome to Bomber, board construction has come a long way since your M3. This Is a good starter board if you are on a budget http://http://www.bomberonline.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=35611

C5 Golfer
Define "a ton of money". That would be 90.9 Million Dollars. Based on one million dollars in $100 bills is equal to 22 lbs. Hope this was helpful.

Lots of them around.. a 169 or 174 would be a nice board for you to start running around everywhere on the mountain.
