Randy Kight
Just got a pair of these. I was surprised at how tight the toe levers were, as they won't rotate around the bail. Is this just the way it is, or does it loosen up a bit? Thanks.
www.oldsnowboards.com
Touch of graphite or WD40? They will loosen up with operations.
leeho730
I actually like that "feature", prevents clips from banging against the edge.
Randy Kight
Great point. Is this a design feature or are these just overly tight and trying to loosen won't harm that feature?
fin
Randy, Yep, they are tight out of the box. But after about one or toe runs/uses they loosen right up. Make sure to get that set-screw just tight as well. Rule: just enough gap to get your fingers under it to open.
Randy Kight
Thanks for everyone's time. Look forward to giving them a go.
heroshmero
Try moving the lever left or right slightly. I found that when I got a new pair that the lever would move better when it was right in the center of the bail and if it got pushed to one side or the other that it was rather difficult to move. Also, like others have said, they loosen up a bit and become easier to move over time.
tpalka
+1 on centering the toe bail. I also lubed it with bomber butter, though it's hard to get much in there.
