ti_knee
Nakiska is apparently opening up top on the weekend. I'll bet the wife will want to go... if anybody is digging out a rock board, see you there. Nick
Allee
Ugh. I'm waiting for December and some real snow.
Puddy Tat
Ugh. I'm waiting for December and some real snow. I've planned my first trip down to Sunshine for Nov 26th/27th. We'll see how that works out. I'm dying to get out, but don't have a board that I'd risk at the moment. Dave
ti_knee
I have the clunker from the ski swap, but my wife has new skis and doesn't want to use rock skis. We're second guessing and saving maybe for December!! :(
lowrider
How many runs and what are they charging for limited terrain ? How do you like the download ride? Are they loading every chair or spacing them apart ?
Puddy Tat
I am so carving the snot out of you this year. No more wussing out and skid turning the top section.
Puddy Tat
Both the The run "North Axe" - at Nakiska (Number 2 on the trail map) and myself. I was completely unable to carve it last year during NES, though by the end of the season I had finally almost managed it with only one or two skid turns on the steepest bit at the top. To top it off it's right under Bronze chair. You can't skid turn down the black section and then try and look like a hero when the grade softens on the lower blue section. You have to own it all the way down. Everytime I look at a trail map of Nakiska, it laughs at me. Dave P.S. Ok I'll leave and take my brand of crazy somewhere else now.
