how to enjoy your commute

WTF! Anyone venture a guess as to what his speeds were reaching? Anyone else watching that clip trying to tuck their arms, legs and shoulders in when he was riding between the other cars? I know I was!

I did the center line thing many times when I commuted on a bike in the UK. I'm glad I survived to know how dumb we can be in our youth. Motorcyclist riding between lanes of slow moving cars is legal in most countries, if not at those speeds. The wide angle lens makes it look tighter. To a foreign biker, it looks very strange to see motorcycles waiting like cars in heavy traffic.

Multiply that rider by hundreds + cars goes zig zag between other cars + hundreds pedestrian crossing between line up cars = that's how they do it in some countries. Speed between cars (maybe) 30-60km most, hardly reach 100km in open short spaces. Both side mirrors on the bike are your indicators if way too close. 2-3 times/year glass of the side mirror of those cars have to be replaced.:eplus2:

Thank you! I thought it was just me. If I talk about lane splitting on a bike, people in Canada look at me like I have a second head. We did it in New Zealand all the time - although I hear it's illegal there now, one of my friends got ticketed for it a few weeks back.

Must remember when I sit my Canadian bike licence next month, not to do that (oops ...)
