As far as Tremblant, Mont Blanc & Le Relais: If you're not a Canadian, you need to sent a written confirmation from USSA that you are in "good standing" ( = pay your fees :) ). Otherwise, any FIS athletes can compete, even a first-timer can register in a NorAm event.

If you want to compete in one of our Non-FIS event, you need to have a valid competitor license from any Canadian province.( Insurance...)

As far as the World Cup in Stoneham...this is an other business:rolleyes:

Even with warm weather over the weekend, Tremblant crew is doing a great job to have our 3 days of events ready. Thursday 6th will be a PGS FIS event, Friday 7th & Saturday 8th will be 2 days of SBX FIS races. A lot of young Canadians will attend as provinces are finalizing their selection for Canada Winter Games in February.

Alpine Men race should be a 110 pts FIS race, may be more ?

Should be able to post results & pics later

First competitions of the season for Snowboard Québec:

Alpine January 6th at Tremblant<O:p</O:p

During an exciting week of snowboarding activities at Mont Tremblant, Snowboard Quebec organized a training camp and one day of PGS competition. With athletes from several eastern provinces and from US northeast the action was exciting. 43 athletes took part in conditions that were near perfect for this type of event. Tremblant Event team and volunteers did an outstanding job. Jasey-Jay Anderson was on-hand to help the course officials and did not hesitate to chat with athletes present. Our home-town Olympic gold medalist even presented the medals at the award ceremony.
