If I can go at all it will be mid day. There are several Rose carvers that don't use the forums so you should see some. Patrick was there carving last weekend. I haven't seen Rob or James yet. Northwest is the run to carve on, but it gets very busy by mid morning on a weekend which means lots and lots of stops to make sure you don't get straightlined from behind. Mt. rose was a bit of a wet sloppy snow mess.. everyone going in every conceivable direction.. I think I'll have to give it another try on a packed powder day.
