Remo told me that they use special (rather expensive) screws on their bindings ... I mean these screws that connect the part with the bails to the base plate. These have been of poor quality. Problem is known (at least to Joerg) and will seems to be fixed as of now. On the burton race plates I have (the last model) it is very easy to cross thread those screws. I don't know if that was an issue with screw, or interference from the plastic piece. Not a big problem if you never change your boots, but for a while, when I was switching boots a lot, it took a lot of care to avoid cross threading. jacopodotti Posted November 4, 2010 Report Share Posted November 4, 2010 I've two pairs of the last model , the red and blue ones, and never had a problem.
