Seb Posted September 13, 2010 Author Report Share Posted September 13, 2010 If anybody know something like youtube that you can put long vids I will put them promise cause I know it can be long on the gigatribe sometimes...cause it can take 30minutes for some people to download a 2minutes long vid but it took 2 hours to download a 45minutes vid for an other guy so it seems to depend... The 30 second videos are taking me about 30 mins to download. :( Vimeo Plus offers unlimited HD uploading with no maximum file size. Downfall is its $60 a year. Do not change names of folders or files , maintain file structure. Those with better bandwidth try to keep a computer up and running at night. Sign up for the premium version for a month or so. Send a few DVDs to those willing to help share online. Speed things up big time. Perhaps start a swarm elsewhere once a few of us have the bulk of the content. Allot of the smaller files could be uploaded to youtube for the majority of those that want to be selective in their viewing. I could help with several of these. PS. This could be very helpfull if Pokkis has the bandwidth and storage. Last time I did this, it invited hackers/bots and brought down my site. I won't be doing that anytime in the near future.
