ncermak
I have a friend who needs to get rid of a 1.5 year old male named Chuck. I am really close to adopting him myself because I don't want to see him go to a shelter, but it really is not the best time for take such a wonderful beast... He is in Pittsfield, MA

skatha
I second contacting the rescue...they have a network of foster families and definitely a "no-kill" philosophy. The Texas Malamute Rescue has a FB page. Once my hubbie tells me he's okay with getting another dog, I'm definitely going to get a rescue Mal
