Rob Smith
My family and I are shocked. So sad. She was so happy with her month at Whistler. Eric, thanks for posting.
just give 'er
I read of this accident in the Star, and had thought it would have been an out of control beginner, which would have been terrible, but how sad to hear that it was Jacquie. It's been quite a few years since I worked at BVSC, but I remember her fondly. She always charged, and rode hard. I'm not sure I believe in an afterlife, but if there is one Jacquie, the lift will drop you off at your choice of perfect corduroy, untracked pow, steep trees, a soft spring bump run, or maybe a boardercross course with a couple of good friends. skategoat
This is hard to believe. I was just looking at her photos from Vancouver, all smiles, in the pouring rain, prepping the BX course. She will be greatly missed.

Neil Gendzwill
For those of you non-Canucks, Macleans is a weekly newsmagazine similar to Time. Each week they profile the life of an interesting person who recently passed away. I'd say it's quite an honour for Ms. Snarr! She was clearly a special person. Allee
Thanks for posting the Macleans link, EAJ. I was going to do that and forgot all about it. "The End" is one of my favourite columns in Macleans. It's amazing how many inspirational people just live quietly among us...
