KingCrimson
I don't know if I'll ride all those days or not.. I'm meeting up with family from France, so it won't be super carve dedicated..But then again Cranmore doesn't seem appropriate for that anyway. Does anyone ride there? powdahbonz
I do and you'll be surprised that there are some fun runs and it should be low key and quiet. And less than $50 bones for an all-day and night ticket is hard to beat. I have never seen another hardbooter there besides myself.
Ernie00
Last year we had a trip to NH and I went to cranmore on 2 days. Not as high as attitash or wildcat but the chair is super fast and week days are uncrowded. Grooming was decent. In 3 hours riding non stop you can get a lot of vertical done and kill your quads! Killer view of mount Washington also from the top.
KingCrimson
Running laps on a nice groomed run seems like a blast, and a lot like home! Powdah, how are the trees right now? My guess is that central trail gets SUPER packed on weekends, and I prefer to take my chances in the trees than play meat slalom (or worse yet, be a meat gate)
Ernie00
if you have a car you have other options at 15 min less of drive. Attitash and Wildcat.
powdahbonz
You'll probably be looking at some fresh cover by then. Check out NOAA weather forecasts for Mt Washington Valley for the next 10 days. ME, NH and VT are looking good. I'll be leaving ECES on 3/5 and driving to No. Conway and at Cranmore on 3/6 and 3/7. While your there, check out Moat Mountain Brewing, Red Parka Pub and Margarita Grill(awesome cajun tilapia fish tacos-they ROCK) and the pours on the 'ritas are heaveee. Great breakfast place about 1/8 mile from Margarita Grill on the same side of the road(can't remember name) has a large moving train set that cruises around the whole place inside. Awesome b-fast. And awesome beer store about 700 feet from there that has 200 different types of brews. That's a good start for when you're not riding:eplus2:

KingCrimson
The number of times I've been invited drinking through BOL is catching up to school.. No car, or resort choice for me. Can I get away with my 16m Coiler there? I ride it everywhere around these parts, and I can't imagine the trails are significantly smaller there. powdahbonz
Need to find something to convert it. I've got a 55 hr week going this week so not on the priority list. Probably won't happen until after ECES. With the puking snow, probably leaving early for the mountains.
