Cindy Kleh
I have a pass to the Boat and I love that place, but it is hard to get around. I'll get in touch when we're headed that way. It seems that trail maps are hard to find and you keep ending up in deadends with long lift lines to get out. Frustrating! carvedog
everyone knows that there is no good carving there. what are you guys thinking? they have waaaay too much snow.
Dave Winters
We do get a lot of snow, but the carving in between storms is primo, and getting around is no problem. And there's plenty of maps available. But you don't need one if you're riding with Mark or me!! Drop a line if you're in town.
carvedog
Helllllls Yes - I would love to come check out Steamboat. It looks awesome. Do I need to put more webdingshizt smiley things on my posts? Or something else? I was being sarcastic, or facetious or ambiguous or one of those other ten cent words. I thought you guys knew me better by now that I am hardly ever serious. Like ever. Unless someone gives advice that I think may foul up someone's riding or cause injury. Bobby Buggs
When I was there I had 3 carving boards and 1 Osin 4807-178. Rode the carving board the first day and 1/2 then put on the Osin and that was it:biggthump Big fun on Morning side and Christmas tree area in the pow. k2slopesurfer
Last time I was there was for my 30th b-day, March 2008. 1st 2 days warmish but not worse than east coast spring, then 3 days of straight up powder. Rode my 3800 in waist deep in christmas tree bowl, dropped a small cliff into chest high pow. Awesome. Last two days, amazing groom, got my girl snowboard lessons. I wanted to move to steamboat after that trip, but we are moving to vt in 2 years instead.
