tpalka
Lisa, Scott, and I rode up at Monarch a few days before closing. Some of the steeper and narrower trails were (unusually) groomed, so we had a great time. Video also showcases some work in progress -- strictly toeside (no heelside turns) and disco style (think Travolta) -- along with spills. Have fun, tom. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iG8ckiV9pl8&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iG8ckiV9pl8&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> HQ link

tpalka
Thanks, it was a fun day indeed :) The strictly toeside riding adds a ton of nose/tail-roll transitions and I haven't figured out how to not counter-rotate on the tail rolls. If I weren't facing the front already I could wind up a bit more... anyways, part of the challenge! Ink/DT -- hoping to hit A-Basin later this spring, let's see if we can coordinate, would be great to ride with you again -- missed you at the Lovey Part Deux. James -- hoping to see you getting the fakie on sometime next season! Steve -- thanks, lots more work and fun to be had :) tom.
