MUD
Hey all, SO, what is everyone doing Sunday? I am thinking of Buck but it will be busy. I need to play around on the new board and it is not short. Does Afton get busy on Sunday mornings? I am NOT going to Welch.

trent
i was at afton last sunday from 9 - 3, and it wasn't very crowded. lines were never long, and the kamikaze count was low. only place that was crowded was under chair 2 due to a d-team or ussa race. -trent
MUD
I'd be game for afton. Hey Erik, I think I am just going to hit Buck.... My first tinme out on the X5, I don't want to be in unfamiliar territory.
bhh1128
I'll probably be at Spirit. They have a deal right now for 2009-2010 passes. You can use it for the rest of this year starting tomorrow, and it's $155 or so with taxes/fees if you've either never had a pass there or haven't had one since 5 years ago. That would be pretty cool, but I am not that flexible with my schedule right now, couple years maybe.

thebionicman
Doug I'll see you at Buck. I have to get the stance dialed in on the Doughboy. I like you thought about a place you are familiar with. That way I can get a few more things done before I had out on Monday too!
Scuff
Races at Welch went incredibly smooth today. Great conditions, blue skies. 13+ hardbooters and "Nicotine" was also out riding. Snow was dry and mostly hardpack. Kids were riding awesome and it's getting harder to keep up the rippers. I took a little detour during GS and ended up off course and in the rough next to the treeline. Kinda scary. By the end of the day the riveted cant/pivot mechanism on my left boot was starting to separate from the boot.. close to failure. Pierce texs say to send it back to manufacturer. *sigh* Didn't plan on upgrading boots for at least another season. Will be at Buck Sunday - hope the SBX course is being held through the park, and not on crossroads.
