KingCrimson
Out of curiosity, I made a basic logo..turned a picture of a Donek Freecarve into a black logo and came up with this.. Also, for free, I can see what it looks like on swag. All proceeds will..oh wait, there are none. Kind of a cool service though, but definitely overpriced. http://www.cafepress.com/SocalCarvers
Terryw
Wow! Nice to see all of the participation from our so cal carvers. I thought the last gathering was amazing. Hard to believe we could do it twice in one month.
AMWOOD
It just so happens that i'll be there w/ my family (wife & 3 kids) for the weekend and will be at Summit on Sunday w/ my 2 girls(their second day on the snow). Once their rental'ed and in ski school i may be able to break away for a few turns ...? I'm sure i'll be bumping into one or two of you through the day. Looking foreward to meeting some of you (hopefully):) -Tony
KingCrimson
You should bump into all of us if you check Chair 7 and 10. Seems to be the local carver turf.
AMWOOD
Sounds like a plan ! ! !
KingCrimson
Don't forget the apres-carve BBQ as well. We need time to talk about all the 1440* Eurocarves and perfectly angulated toesides and how we never reached for the snow, but in fact in came up on us as we were going so fast. Arclite
alright. we got tony on the list now. 16 carvers hopefully. this is bigger than ASSESS
KingCrimson
Got a Surf Rodz Carve 170 demo, courtesy of Wayne G of Surf Rodz on the way. He wants it tested in conditions he isn't getting over on the Ice Coast. Hopefully it gets here in time for the 25th, if it does, I'll bring it up and pass it around. 18.5 waist! gdboytyler
I want to try out KC's Coiler 184 when he's messing around with the Surf Rodz. I'll try my best to keep it out of the woods.
KingCrimson
You're welcome to try it, goes for everyone else as well. Word of caution: Bruce ended up in the woods on the exact board. Oh yeah, it's a 16m radius and stiff. Gotta try the Surf Rodz too, he wants some feedback from surfy-skatey types. Arclite
alright. we got tony on the list now. 16 carvers hopefully. this is bigger than ASSESS even though ASSESS started on new year's day in 2008 and it's become an annual event we can be ASSESS anytime and all the timeAlpine Snowboarding Session Expression @ Snow Summit the way i see it, if there are 3 or more carvers at snow summit it qualifies for ASSESS

Arclite
i dont think you need to bring anything....the ski patrol is hooking us up. everyone we should give props to Dennis for all of this, right? the popcorn says "pop" not "prop".....oh well.... Terryw
It is true that Dennis is hosting the BBQ for us. But I'm not sure he knew what he was letting himself in for . This little gathering has grown like the proverbial snowball rolling down hill gathering speed and mass! I thing we should all make it clear to Dennis that we are willing to help if need be. After all who could have anticipated 15 or 16 hardbooters (or more at this rate) showing up at the same time at Summit!
Arclite
very true Terry. so Aaron, would you talk to Dennis and offer all of our support for the JPMCS?
