scotts.Scheinman
Okay, so last night I was was with my uncle who is currently on his way to vail(lucky him) and we were throwing around the idea of going to Chile during the summer for a week to enjoy our idea of fun in the sun. I was wondering if any BOLers have gone and how they liked it. Is it worth it to go all that way? Thanks Scott
tex1230
LONGLONGLONG time ago...but GO!!!! don't even think about it! If you have the means and the time GET DOWN THERE! I'll be back once my son is ready for a little more difficulty and that long of a flight. I went to Portillo about 18 years ago...just an amazing experience. Also consider Argentina if you haven't gotten your heart set on one place yet. Las Lenas is really fun too.
scotts.Scheinman
we dont really have a single place in mind weather it be argentina or chile. Give or take how much do you think it is to go down there.

Guest shrederjen
I try to go every other year. I will be going in 2009. I usually go for the 3rd week (or so) of August. They tend to get a nice dump during that time period. You can fly in and ride the day you arrive and leave (due to flying at night). The food is good. The wine is great. When there is no pow, the groom is very good. I have gone with 2 people and I have gone with 10. Its all fun. Jen
