inkaholic
I can't seem to find any schedule for the daily stuff about RTTC. Does anyone know when coaches meetings, lifts open, races start and all that stuff are taking place? Thanks, Ink
SuperBee
From what I heard, one run will be closed starting today for training. Typically, the training occured very early in the morning ( 6h30 ? ). That run reopen to public later on ( before 10h ). Swiss team is training at Copper actually ( rumors ? ) and will be part of RTTC.

SuperBee
7h00 am ! 7H00 pm, you'll find racers somewhere else... Race is now a PGS instead of a GS.

LeeW
I ask cuz I recall seeing that the race will be over at 11 pm ? I may be a bit screwy in the head thanks to working graveyard shift. I dont know if I'll be able to make it after work (9am), but I'll try. Should we have a sign saying "bombers' people" for us to meet ?
fin
Here is what I was just told by one of the coaches yesterday: Wednesday is Dual GS, Thursday is Dual Slalom First runs start at 8:30am. So even if you showed between 9 and 10 you would still not miss the finals.

oldkey
At coaches meeting this evening times were given as follows: 7:00 AM racers lift 7:30 AM inspections 8:00 AM start of qualifiers 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM ish - start of finals 9:00 AM - lifts open for spectators I think we will need incredible luck for well over 100 riders to be done by 9. Don't hesitate - get on the first lift and you should make the finals - just not the qualification runs.
ncermak
seems like a very tight schedule... 2 run inspection... and banging 100 racers through on each course in an hour? Damn. I wish run USASA Nationals that quickly! Good luck Racers!
SuperBee
As of 12h33 EST ( 10h33 Copper Time ) the 2nd qualifying run for men was not complete. They had timing problem that added a 30 minutes delay. Seems like it will be a long day SuperBee

Guest
I think I'm going to drive through the night so I can watch the race in the morning. Does anyone have a board I can borrow? Also, to watch, do you need a pass? I assume yes, but not sure. Call my cell if you can help: 970.309.8729

inkaholic
B-2, Thanks for the Vids! What a great race to watch and be a part of. I had a blast watching and talking to old friends and meeting new ones. Also, Thanks to Copper for hosting the race. Even though there were timing and gate issues it was a great event with and incredible field of athletes. Ink
