willywhit
Just heard the news watching F1 qualifying in Singapore. Hot laps in heaven,Paul. My old roomie in Newport RI worked for Paul running his popcorn vending carts in Central Park, 20+ years ago. Got the job interviewing with the man himself, Ian from Westport CT. boarderboy
Hell, the fall will probably kill ya! I'm really sorry Butch and Sundance didn't get to make one final, triumphant flick, but what grand times they did give us! I'm sure "Hud" would've made one terrific boarder! RIP, indeed... skategoat
I watch George Clooney/Brad Pitt buddy flicks and think, "pale imitations of Redford and Newman". Newman was probably the second coolest guy in Hollywood (next to Steve McQueen). And coolest of all, he stayed married to the same woman for 50 years. ncermak
But Cool Hand Luke inspired Paul Newman Day at Bates...24 beers in 24 hours. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newman_Day good times. My Freshman year, I had Mono, so I was not allowed to Drink. I did Newman Day with Coke instead. It was a long night.
