Speedzilla
Directly from the general office at Welch: We will not allow what we call extremely aggressive carving as it does too much damage to the hills and is causing injuries to those who get stuck in the ruts. Ninety-nine % of the people with carving equipment do not cause this damage. Speedzilla
I figured this was worthy of a thread in the general forum
pebu
But 99% of those with carve equipment aspire to be so good they can cause that "damage".
jolson
This does not bode well as it would seem to set a precedent....any other hills anywhere that have taken this stance.

Joe D.
We have a Gilboa Board meeting next Tuesday and I'd like to put it on the agenda.
powell1.8
It seems like with the growing presence of alpine riding in MN Welch is not fully appreciating the gravity of there actions. I'm trying to stay positve, but it's hard. It just seems wrong. Hopefully they will see the light before it's too late.
