http://www.ncdsa.com/contest_registration.asp?ContestID=351

...and the field is growing more and more "stacked"!

GP at worlds in NC last fall...

Jason Mitchell, Richy Carrasco all the way from CA, and look even World Championship racer Rick W. Floyd! Stacked!

Nothing wrong with Dan, he spent 6 months with skating Cirque du Soliel last year. Plus he makes KICK ASS wheels (pretty much the only wheels I have skated for the last 9 months)

What are they called? Are they specifically for downhill?

Dan Gesmer is Seismic/3DM wheels. Some wheels like SpeedVents are pretty much DH only; others like Avilas and Blast Waves are more multi purpose speedwheels; Hotspots, Avalons and Cambria's are both Slalom and multi purpose wheels. Personally I use Hotspots on my DH Freeride board because then give me control in hairball situations that a true speed wheel might not.

I've heard of Seismic and Avalons. I'm still riding an old set of Bullet 66's.

hmmm.... nice boards

when you first buy them...

my loaded is now softer; less stable and doesn't feel as comfortable to ride around town anymore; so much money, it should last alot longer than it seems like it inevitably will.

another two months (i've had it for about that long) and i'll have a new wall decoration... oh boy.... :angryfire

Anyway..Got my 72mm 74a Gravities in today. It's such a soft and grippy ride. Little bit slow, but the feel is something I'd kill for.

less stable because way up high in the mountains here we have a lot of divots and bumps; which cause the board to oscillate; more oscillation less stability

and what i meant was it still has some good high speed stability... unfortunately it feels like its changing for the worse
