Guest RC51Stunna
Going to Lutsen with my gf at the end of March and looking for anyone who could come and help her with her transition from soft to hard booting. If anyone is around up there, please let me know! Thanks RC51Stunna@mac.com
Scuff
Sorry Jason - I don't know any carvers that far North. Let me know if you ever go boarding in the Metro area. My wife and I try to carve with the Sunday morning group at Buck.
BobD
I would not have thought Lutsen a good place to learn to carve on an alpine board. Most runs are narrow and lined with trees. Would not engender confidence. If you want to head north, 4 pipe at Spirit is about as perfect a place to try out hard boots as any. Guest RC51Stunna
great info guys, thanks! I am looking to get my own hardboot setup here very soon, I may take you up on the buckhill offer. Thanks!
rwmaron
If you do head up to Spirit with your HB setup, let me know in advance; I'll be happy to give you a condition update and possibly hook up.....
flying_burito
My buddy and me both live in Duluth and are at Spirit a lot, we would be happy to help out. I used to teach snowboarding but only softboots, never tried to teach anybody on hardboots. I second the fact that Lutsen is not a friendly place to try and learn it's steep and usually cold and icy. In my opinion 4 pipe at Spirit Mt. would be the best run to learn on. Let us now if you are coming up.
