dredman Posted November 23, 2007 Author Report Share Posted November 23, 2007 Targhee had pretty fair early season conditions. It was great to be out sliding around again. We had a fun day with beautiful sunny skies and comfortable temperatures. I did get some unexpected base damage. Near the top of the mountain where some rocks were cleverly hidden beneath a few inches of snow. I expected the bottom to be where I would get some damage. If you do head to Targhee take a rock board, don't expect to ride super smooth groomers. I think I will wait till the next storm cycle before I go back up.
