Jack M
that was what you thought about my weird idea (get the beginners to ride duck, so they won't be assymetrical one-way'rs like me). ooohhhhhh yeah. Heh. woops. In my opinion, the recreational riders here who "defend" their style, like, let's say "knees together" or something like that, risk a 3rd degree flame-job. This sucks because they're only saying it's fun, not that it offers some sort of advantage. I went back and looked at that thread. JJ was saying it is advantageous, not simply that it's fun. I still think that's... not right.

It's so fun!!!!!!!! Everybody should do it! Look at that old board, I must be craaaazy!!!!! Just kidding, I love snowboarding. I can't wait for it to snow. I've been walking around the house all week with my knees touching each other to get ready for the season.
Rob Stevens
Nothin' goes down as smooth as that clean "Old Milwaukee" flavor...
JJFluff
Im drinking one right now in fact, a ice cold bottle of miller lite. Soon to be miller/coors light. What a perfect merger. Milwaukee, and the rocky mountains. Kind of like when I'm ripping up the rockies I guess.
willywhit
same here, Milwaukee's Best ICE 5.9% and some Myers white rum with ice, fresh lemon juice and sugar. My hip feels like a rusty door hinge creaking right now. I'll bet some g force turns on the snow will cure this ailment-advil, hot water. Bubba
same here, Milwaukee's Best ICE 5.9% Try some Golden Monkey (12.9% it tastes better in a glass), you won't even need the Myer's.

Blackbird
Hey, Bordy, I always enjoy your perspective. Your writing skills aren't anywhere near your riding skills and that causes a disconnect between the actual quality and the perceived quality of your info, not to mention pissing folks off. I've learned to ignore how you say things and pay attention to what you're saying. Hang in there, please. great way to say it me thinks...I enjoy everybodies perspective, from the total beginner to the seasoned pro.... it's all good to me...;) I've learned to filter what's said....But I do remember the knees together thread... LOL It sounds like it's getting close to trenchin' time.... the edgyness is showing people.... Steve

JJFluff
I thought the horse was dead to Jack, I wasn't trying to revive it. But I must say I feel good about the fact that the original post got around 6800 views and 165 replies. From what I could find, one of the most ever on the site. The dead horse animation was great.

yyzcanuck
And I quote: "All Mountain vs Carve Specific When trying to decide what board is best for your needs, the first decision is what kind of board you want - all mountain or carve specific. Keep in mind that most of the boards and gear that we sell is not marketed towards racers! In fact, a very small percentage of our customers are racers, most are recreational carvers such as yourself." I think Billy owes Fin an apology for stealing his line! Dave ESPI
Racing is a mindset, not a personality type. When I race, I race. When I ride, I ride. I keep church and state seperate, but I ride ready to race at the drop of a hat. I find it cooler to just be laid back and be lightning quick when unexpected and deadly exact with my style so that when I ride by, people turn and watch. Thats just how I roll............. in hardboots, or soft. http://www.printroom.com/popupImage.asp?shopperid=FDLVTW6WA8ME8L27CRJGV6MFPGCP7E6F&img_id=57153007&effectRGB=
