redriver
Hello everyone- Just joined and want to get back into carving / light racing. You've no doubt heard this one before: Need help deciding on a board to use every-other-day on trips, and to race GS (I like my freeride board for Slalom). I'm 185 lbs with an 11 boot, the last (only) carve board I had was a Burton alp and I didn't enjoy it. Thinking about some kind of freecarve board- used, but not sure how narrow I can go with my feet - probably don't want a pure race or GS board. Like USASA racing and some Nastar for fun. Opinions? Thanks
abakker
maybe a prior 4wd or madd bx. tough to find them used though. also you might look at a rad air Reto if you can find one. they are all boardercross kind of boards, so they take plates with high angles and are meant for carving. maybe you need more alpine type boards, but these are my best bet for you. redriver
Thanks- and willing to hear more opinions. I had been eyeballing the Coiler RC and the Prior 4wd. What about Donek Axxess, F2 Silberpfeil, Coiler Freecarve and the Burton Speed?
