ealely
if you are blind then I am too! I've been checking several times the website (since end of september as they said it would be ready by then) and I guess alpine category is just still not there yet:angryfire
bartron
They may be doing what Head has been doing for a few years: sell alpine equipment, but don't put it on their site or in their catalog. 'later...
wannabe
Why would they do that? to save some trees??? If they sell, why don't they advertise? don't they want everybody know what they are making?
Dan
Didn't Burton do the same thing before they got out of alpine entirely? (they did get out of alpine, didn't they?) Could be a few reasons. Maybe they don't want to declare their presence in the market to forestall embarrassment if they decide to drop alpine. Or, maybe they've just decided that their limited marketing dollars are going to go to larger markets than alpine?
bschurman
Well Blue Tomato is selling new F2 boards so I suspect that F2 is making alpine boards this year. http://www.blue-tomato.at:80/UtilAction.bto?whereFrom=list&pageAction=2&pageNum=

Phil
R17 Addicted on ebay. Sorry, I know it is kind of O.T.
Miltie
FYI - The Addicted-R17 alpine board and bindings made for the Japan market by Burton were dropped for the 05/06 season. Nothing is planned for 06/07. Bummer! I think they held out for as long as they could. They had a difficult time selling some models so many shops still have them in inventory over there. Was in Tokyo last week and saw a few lingering in the sale racks.
dano
Buy up all the intec parts!!...Looks like the lawsuit is taking it's toll. I'm assuming F2's alpine line was not super-profitable in the first place, although they must sell more in Europe. ( Just a guess! I have NO IDEA what's happening with the lawsuit... )
