boarderboy
Never been to the 'Creek, but they have reputation for some of the biggest dumps in Colorado - most years the highest totals in the state (?) Here in powder starved 'Carolina I subscribeto their daily snow report - just for inspiration. Have fun...
tex1230
the place I first picked up a board - 1981 :) tons of snow, a little too flat on big dumps. and lots of us Texans. ask Lee W - he was there late last year in a BIG storm. I haven't been in years.
RDY_2_Carve
It's tree riding but the trees aren't very tight. They usually get 400"+ during the snow season. Minimal grooming. If you like waist deep powder this would be your spot. Tom (from Salida) has some nice pictures on his website of some trips to Wolf Creek. It's ~4 hours for me so please let me know if anybody decides to head out there! I think there's some backroads I can take to trim the drive down to 3.5 hours... LeeW
make sure you pick your line with good pitch, otherwise youd be stuck and swimming. it was the case for me with my big gun.

RDY_2_Carve
Here's a link to Tom's website (tpalka=BOL ID) that has some pics and vids of Wolf Creek. Just be careful you can very easily loose track of time in all his content... :)
Mr. T
Wolf Creek is classic for getting copious amounts of snow ealy in the season. I made a trek down there once in mid november, and had days of fresh, truley unforgetable.
