Kimo
For you Summit carvers... or anyone who rides there a lot: Which pass would you get, a Colorado Pass (Vail/Beaver Creek/Keystone/Breck/A-Basin) or Rocky Mountain Super Pass (Copper/Winter Park)? Why? I'm guessing Colorado Pass, but I figured I'd ask.
LeeW
I chose both. Vail pass is good because of more variety of ski resorts/terrains to ride at. -HOWEVER-, if you're into alpine snowboard racing, Copper it is.
boostertwo
Both good choices. If I had to choose, I'd go with the CO pass because of more areas, variety, and late season at A-Basin. Night sking at Keystone also a bonus. <img src="http://i3.tinypic.com/wlq25w.jpg" border="0" alt="Thedo Remmelink, Howelsen Hill, CO"> Either way, you can't go wrong. Addendum: New next season, the CO Pass next season offers unlimited skiing riding at Vail/Beaver Creek after 1 April (in addition to the 10 days already included with the pass.) ARCrider
I had the Copper pass for this past season and had two solid weeks with it. I would have got the CO pass too if I lived a little closer.
fin
Sorry, just got back from a week off My vote would be for the CO Pass. More resorts = more options. Beaver Creek can be good on busy days at other resorts and Keystone has really upped thier grooming the past few years. And night carving at Keystone is a blast if not done it before. Crowds at Copper have been getting worse every year. I think I went there 3 times this season.
todd
There is always the US Ski Team Gold Medalion: Donate $6K, (mostly tax deductible), and you can ski almost every resort in the country - free. No lift ticket. No waiting in ticket office lines. And best, totally transferable, anyone you want to let use it, no problem. Just wish I could afford one.
