  1. Good question. On the Ski Cross Q & A page it says for Ski Cross: Q. How do I qualify for the Olympic Team? A. Criteria for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics has been established. Please click here. The link takes you to the home page for all the events and does not contain a link for Ski Cross (last time I checked).
  2. Article includes details and links to PDFs for info on "How to Make the Olympic Team" (Winter Olympics). Interesting stuff. http://www.nessg.com/2009_olympics110609.shtml
  3. Thanks much for the info. Very interesting. Phil thanks for your feedback as well. Nothing wrong with a few takes on the subject. GB
  4. Very cool! Thanks for the insider information. From your perspective (I'm presuming you've raced outdoors), what are the noticeable differences and challenges between racing indoors as is the Landgraff case from outdoors? Does racing indoors feel different in terms of board to surface and the like? GB
  5. Results can be deceiving. Did you see the race online, TV or did you happen to see it live? If online, do you have a link? GB
  6. SB SL Landgraff Report & Results U.S. Men two top ten finishers and five in the finals. Jasey Jay Anderson, Canada third. Great start for him. One more run at the elusive Olympic gold for JC perhaps. Interesting note: Justin Reiter who lost head-to-head against 2nd place finisher Bozzetto, overall maintained a closer overall time differential to Bozzetto than DuFour (7th) and JC Jay (3rd). So Reiter's 16th place finish does not appear indicate how well he raced in the first round of the finals. http://www.nessg.com/2009_wild101009.shtml
  7. Jason Mitchell, Richy Carrasco all the way from CA, and look even World Championship racer Rick W. Floyd! Stacked!
  8. No matter which direction you turn, as I said before--"It is getting a bit scary."
  9. Seeing is believing. If I were not there, I'd have a hard time getting it--Fat Boy that is.
  10. There were some cool guys there last year--like Fat Boy. Neat guy to talk to and one of the finest kilts I've seen in along time!
  11. It is getting a bit scary. Where is that great independent?
  12. Great to hear. Your dad touched base with me while you were at the Jrs.
  13. Seb, Are you back home yet or still on the road?
  14. How is the riding down your way? What months is your season?
  15. W. You can see the status change to Main is bringing in some bigger names from further distances. The event is in about 5.5 months and it's packed already.
  16. Great stuff. Thanks for sharing the link. Incredible concentration.
  17. I owned a pair of the new 2008 UPZ and they seemed to be a comfortable fit rather than snug. I'm guessing the 27.5 may do you fine. But that's only a guess.
  18. Nice pics. Thanks for sharing.
  19. Don't forget to drop the networks a thank you for airing and encourage them to air again next season.
  20. I think that has something to do with saving the planet one membership card at a time.
  21. If I can get ze back in order, I want to continue to develop my skateboard "skills." It's lots of fun on a nice summer day. It's too bad while you're at Copper you couldn't ride a longboard down that long skateboard trail they have out there. Looks like a lot of fun.
  22. Got ya. It's a quality of racing life issue. Someone else's bump, becomes your bump. I was thinking it was the same old crazy stuff that somehow seems to come your way every year. Well I sure hope it works out. I know you want to race the best. Such are the trials and tribulations of the TRUE amateur racer. I was checking the Open Class to see if our favorite 60+ was going to race at Nationals. I was very happy to see his name and it kills that I won't be there to see him do it. Boy how I wish somehow someway he could climb the podium. Props to Mr. B. for climbing the mountain rather than the hill.
