  1. Wave, "There are some start list issues in my div - fill you in later." It wouldn't be a Nationals for you if there wasn't a speed bump or two on your way to the gates.
  2. Wave, Went to the VA Hospital today for my CAT Scan (lower back). Hopefully I'll get things in order during off season and perhaps get back to Nationals again. I'm meeting with the doctor the first week of April to get the results.
  3. Sorry to hear that. It's too bad that the kids work so hard to get there only to have little or no time to practice. Thanks for the information.
  4. Very nice footage. Thanks for sharing!
  5. Seb. I noticed you had a DQ in the PSL. What happened? Too much speed, equipment malfunction...?
  6. For those interested in checking out the bracked results and full results via direct PDF links go to: http://www.nessg.com/jrworlds08_daily_results.shtml This format makes checking results a bit easier.
  7. On Versus they appear to have short videos. Did not see anything on the SBX or PGS events. Not sure about NBC.
  8. Sorry. I got the NBC & Versus schedule off their web sites. So whatever they had posted at the time was what I put up.

  10. Seb, Sorry about the scheduling problems. I sure hope they select a different host country next year. Crazy stuff.
  11. Just guessing, but I'm sure it has something to do with the number of racers that can go down the course per heat. With GS or PGS you're talking 1 or 2 racers per heat. With SBX 4 to 6.
  12. Thanks much! Seb, congrats! Did not realize that you were under cover here.
  13. Men's and Women's SBX results for World Cup in Gujo-Gifu, Japan http://www.nessg.com/2008watanabe022308.shtml
  14. Lindsey Jacobellis and Nate Holland lead the American SBX riders by finishing second at the World Cup snowboardcross competition held at the Sungwoo Resort, Korea earlier today (February 15). The U.S. and Canada both had solid results. For results and story go to: http://www.nessg.com/2008jacobellis021508.shtml
  15. Thanks for the info. I thought Matt was beyond the age limit, but was not certain. He was the cream of the crop last year. 1st in PSL and 2nd in PGS.
  16. Seb, Once the Canadian Team is announced, I would appreciate it (if you are able to locate links) if you provide links to the write-up and team listings. I'm interested in following the Canadian youth as well as the U.S. team. Was last year Matt's final opportunity to qualify for the team? If not, I'm guessing he'll repeat, unless he DQs or something like that.
  17. 2008 Jr. World Championship Snowboard Team Named Story, team, and links to complete detailed Jr. World Championship schedule in PDF format at link below. http://www.nessg.com/2008jrworldteam021508.shtml
  18. Story and results (links at bottom of page) for all races but the men's PSL at: http://www.nessg.com/2008reiter020808.shtml Not sure what's up with FIS. They don't have the full results for the men. For those interested in the full PSL results, I have contacted the USSA to find out when they will be issued. 19. I'm sure there are a few out there. I'm not one of them.
  20. Good point about the Skier-cross--Wave. Sorry. Misunderstood the "SPOILER" thing. Been up late working on music, been very busy at work. When I first read it, I thought you were implying something about one of the riders in the race. No joke. Just tired.
  21. For those of you who may be competing or attending the 2008 USASA Nationals and need to know the schedule to obtain time off from work or plan your travel, the schedule was posted today. You can view at the link below. http://usasa.memberpro.net/main/body.cfm?menu=nationals&language=E
  22. I totally agree. These guys are traveling at high speeds on demanding courses. An accidental push or bump is one thing--taking someone out deliberately is never acceptable.
  23. Nate Holland wins third in a row and Lindsey Jacobellis wins her fourth X Game SBX. Lots of crashes in the men's race. And Lindsey just pulled off a victory when Dominique Maltais (who appeared to be gaining on her) fell.
