  1. These are almost new, and they should be put to use. The shells are perfect though the liners had some footbeds deteriorate in them, so they come without footbeds. I've never used these, but I'm certain plenty of people on this site have. The linerss read EU 10, and this fits like a US 10 1/2-11. The shells read 10-12, and the cuff reads 6-12. I can't tell you the exact year, but I'll guess 1993-94 based upon the color/graphics. According to Carver's Almanac these aren't compatible with many of the newer plate bindings, so only purchase if you know exactly what you're looking at. I figure this site is one of the few places anyone would find these useful, so lets get them into someones hands that can use them. Anyone looking for old school??? My auction acct ID is redrabit1, and I have 100% feedback. Paypal is great for me. Contact directly at redrait1@yahoo.com. Other items to come. Shipping from 60014.
  2. There's no reason you couldn't use a 4x4 plate on these bindings. I do not have any 4-hole plates, but they are readily available at a local shop that sells Burton equipment.
  3. Hit the Hidden Shamrock on Halsted (2723 N. Halsted) for bar things- http://www.thehiddenshamrock.com/ For blues Buddy's is great, but Kingston Mines is in the same neighborhood as the Shamrock. The neighborhoods much better around Kingston... http://www.kingstonmines.com/ Plenty of others all over the area. Enjoy your trip!!!
  4. I just grabbed these at a local sale and thought someone here could put them to good use. I do not know the exact model of these, but as I recall these were made for use as rentals with the adjustable cam running thru the center. I know these are not recommended for larger adult riders because of the plastic construction, but I thought they could be useful for a teaching/club environment (for kids). Anyhow, you all will know more about them than I. I have two pair, both of them new with 3-hole discs, one pair has yellow "bumpers" and one has neon green ones. I assume they have differing densities. $60 each pair plus shipping from IL 60014. Paypal is good for me. If it concerns you my auction acct ID is redrabit1 and I have perfect feedback.
  5. Ebay auction # 200260253894 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&item=200260253894
  6. Do you ride soft boots on the other Donek Axxess (on the left in your picture, a little shorter, maybe a 177??)?. At 21.5 or 22.5 width, do you have enough room for soft boot bindings? Did you need elevators plates to raise the bindings? I'm riding a Burton Supermodel 168 and would love to step up a little in size.
  7. I wish I had the opportunity to ride it, but I haven't. I live in Illinois, so when I go west I can bring only so much gear with me. My Supermodel and a Classic Air or Cruzer are usually with me, as well as an O'Sin 3800. The board is now on Ebay....
  8. Vintage (1990 model year?) Burton PJ 6.0 goofy with original Burton bindings. I have never ridden this board, though it shows minor signs of wear. I purchased it intending to use it, but I have several boards and never got to this one yet. Ready to ride with a tune-up, or hang it on your wall. If it helps the cause I will be using the $$$ to head to the mountains this season. My E*B*A*Y accout name is redrabit1 and I have perfect feedback. It will be well packed and insured correctly. I may have a reference or two here (have dealt with Bryan @ oldsnowboards.com previously). Price $175 plus shipping, Paypal is good for me. A couple more boards may follow. I may have more pictures, depending on how many I can post here. Thanks-
  9. Sorry to hold anyone up- I'll have to pass on the Fish because at 180 pounds I need the 160 length. Thanks though-
  10. Can you tell me what size the Burton Fish is and the condition. I'm in IL, Zip 60014- how much to ship it? Thanks- Brad Get well soon- the season is on it's way...
  11. Thanks for following up- I still need more info and some pix would be great. Perhaps I'll try the phone soon. Brad
  12. I guess Gary was serious about the phone thing- I haven't gotten a response. Has anyone else?
  13. Interested in the 178. Do you have pic's of the 178 and it's bindings? Year and condition of equipment? Scars, usage, etc...

  15. Where would you mount the bindings on a ladybug?
  16. I was thinking the same thing.
  17. You kids keep it up and I'm turning the car around. Don't make me come back there!!!
  18. Exactly why I joined this forum- experience and answers. Thanks Pebu. :)
  19. That's where I was going with my previous question- Initially I thought the bails were just the step-in and force on the toe piece. It looks to me that some type of additional device might be needed to secure the heel. Honestly, I am a 20-year softbooter and although I own a few 5-hole alpine Burtons with the old rat-traps, as well as a pair of MGX's, I haven't had enough faith in them to use them. I know little about the hard-boot setups and step-ins. This is why I wanted to clarify what I need to use these bindings. Any additional info would be helpful. Thanks- Brad
  20. Can you tell me what I would need (other than boots, of course) to make use of those bindings? Are there heels or something of the nature required? Thanks- Brad

    Burton STAT 6

Is this still available? Does it come with the bindings pictured? Please email me- Brad
  22. FYI- I have a Safari Comp I and it is 165 as compared to other old Burtons (Cruise and Cruzer, both 165)...
  23. Yeah- I hear you Bryan- I bid this the first time he listed it and then he cancelled. It's easier to ignor at this price.
  24. Pictures and price would be appreciated? Paypal? Thanks- Brad
