I did not give a price because I am new to the alpine scene and I wouldn't know what a fair price is for the board. I figured with the good attitudes of most of the folks on this website, someone would give me some advice on what to ask for it, rather than getting a sacastic reply.

Sorry my lack of price sent you into what seems to be a fit of mental angst. So much that you had to reply twice.

I hope you are feeling better now

    Ease up.........

For everyone else, I am still open to offers for purchase or suggestions on what I should be asking for either of the boards I have posted.

    Thanks

  2. Trying to sell this one as well. I have not used the board and only one owner prior to me. The board is in very good shape with some slight scratches on the top sheet and marks from where bindings were mounted. No damage to bottom of board exists. I have the a similar Volant brand new and don't need two of them.

Email me at gregory.troxell@zurichna.com and I can send photos as requested.

    Thanks

  3. I tried that trick back in teh mid 90's. when wakboarding really started taking off, except I had snowboard bindings attached to a wakeboard with soft boots. Needless to say, when doing backside rolls or raleys, catching an edge meant ultimate DOOM!!!! Some of the worst wakeboard wrecks I have ever had. If imaginable, it was like the Jolly Green Giant taking me by the ankles and snapping me like a small whip, when the edge caught. It hurt like hell. It only lasted 2 sets up and down the river.

I didnt think it would be that big of a deal until I did it and it's not happening again.

  4. In reviewing the threads, it seems it veered into another extreme techno direction on the first exchange between jkl and Mr. Watkins. You guys just took it to a level that this hill billy cannot decipher. ARGH getting brain cramp, system starting....... to..........give.......

Thats a touch scary fellas, Back to BV.

Simply the best first person shooter I have ever played. Well worth the investment, my wife hates it because I'm always at my desk playing.

I just built my first comp a few months ago and went to

    www.newegg.com

Built a comp I was looking at on alienware for about half of what they were asking. It screams!!!

  6. Price here....price there!!!!!!

    Point is, I won the auction at $223 plus ~ $100 shipping= $323

Far less than other prices being quoted.

I can sense the support of riding this guy a bit, but I'm sure he is reacting how most of us would if we made a HUGE mistake of not posting a reserve on a high valued item. He would be taking a several hundred dollar hit and I would feel a bit squirelly about it myself, if I made the same mistake

I definitely want to get the board but I dont want it to get ugly........ Maybe shake his tree a bit and give him a lessons learned, but I'd love to have that board if the tree is shakin hard enough.

As indicated earlier, business is business and a deal is a deal.

Just keep your eyes peeled for him Bedlam79 is his user name.

  8. I appreciate the offer on helping with the shipping, but I don't think I am going to strike a deal with the guy. He indicated he had a reserve set but the auction finished below what he was asking and now he is backing out. He had plenty of time to change the auction (9-day) and put a proper reserve, but neglected to do so. I guess I see it as I bid, I won the auction, so honor it.

If the deal does pan out I'll let you know.

    Thanks

THanks for the idea on the Beer Mile. Only a few problems:

-you havent seen the guys I drink with, no runnning involved except Rick who is a 52 year old health freak.

-I haven't done any consistent running since playing rugby in college 12 years ago. And I guarantee you we ran further during a game than a mile, of course with a keg on the sidelines for hydration. I stay in shape at the local gym on the EFX, stair climber and SPin classes but they dont permit coolers or kegs at the gym.

-Since some is coming maybe just watch track and field on the TV and drink for each lap completed.

-Lastly, I love a girl that can hold her own but sometimes the good ones scare me if they can drink more than me.

With respect to the Brewski, how about a boardski? For initiation on the rugby team, rookies had to do cleet chug, by filling another rookie's shoe with beer and chugging it at the end of the game. Maybe do some boot chugs.
