Hey , I live in Breck ...I would say peak 10 frontside runs ...steep and groomed , backside of 10 a long flat catwalk out ...ouch ! Also peak 8 , Spruce , Dukes and Rounders ...all nice . For powder if you are lucky , I like 6 chair the best or hit the t-bar ! Cheers . I would spend the days at Breck or 1 day at a-basin on the Lenoway lift .

I was having a little front knee pain, but that was probably just old knees. The real issue for me were heel side turns. It felt like I could never get the weight just right and as soon as I made the change to 6 in the front it put the weight right where it needed to be. Also, I felt I was pushing too hard an my front knee even after switching to 6 in the front. That is when I put the cant disk at 70 degrees. It put the knee right over the middle of the board and made the turns better than ever.

I road all of last year with a 3 and 6 cant on my td2's. Couldn't quite get it dialed in and after talking with Fin switched to 6 in the front and 3 in the rear. Amazing what a difference a little thing like this caused. I also put the front cant at 70 degrees instead of 90, again a big difference. When you get them play around with what works. They amount of adjustment is amazing! Ken

Well, in 78 or 79 I had a Winterstick ST, can't remember what happened to it. I think I am one of the few that have ridden a board at Alta. Back then they would let you hike turns on your board. My dad would spend the day skiing and I would do about 2-3 runs on the ST. During the late 80's- 90's time was spent on many different freeride boards and in 2002 finally switched to plates. Many fond memories of getting yelled at, screamed at, etc. Won't ever go back to ski's. I finally got my 65 year old dad on a board and he loves it! I have gotten him into more trouble with his wife than he cares to admit. He climbs ice, rock with me and at age 63 he climbed Castleton Tower in Moab Utah. One of my greatest days. Thanks dad!

Anyone elses board not "spec out"? Now they don't know when I will have mine as they have to make a new board for me. Not bitchin, just wondering. Got plenty of other boards to ride untill??

I also have had both and IMO the F2 rocks. Super stable and a total blast to ride. For what it is worth.
