  1. i'm not riding this weekend. i'll be too busy grooming my pornstache.

stevo i'll see you bright n early. Heard from a buddy that snow is great. Loon is claiming and I quote "world class groomers" are doing their thang. can't wait to see if it tops SplendaLoaf. yeah right!!

jd call me on your way up. I might be able to sneak out for a few.:barf:

  2. Coverage & grooming were great this weekend. Some trails were buttery soft where they had the snowguns blasting. Other trails were lsgr or hardpack, but still edgeable. Considering all the rain and the recent arctic temps, conditions were mighty fine.

*As a minor disclaimer: I regularly ride Loon, so it doesn't take much to blow me away with good snow quality & grooming. :freak3:

  3. Dos blindss arrr klosed becuzb he's abut ta make madd luv tadhat ting. Don't tattle tale Ta laurel jonny Edwards. Ur gonna be riddin siiiiiik fakey like ur buddy bordy

  4. Sick vid!! That saw roars like an Outerlimits!!!

Here's my day.....my truck broke through the ice on Squam and is stuck on the bottom of the lake. my wif flipped her 3-wheeler and she floated down the Pemi into an ice jam down in Franklin. and now my ice house is flooded and bobbing in open water.

that's how pissah it is up here right now. I'm fkn soaked!!!

  5. I'll be there Sat/Sun. Stevo-you coming up??

Are we defn. running gates on Sun??? I gotta wax my boots and sharpen my TD2.9-Slidewinders.

I can't wait to see what the groomers do with freezing drizzle & pouring rain. I'm headed to Sugarloaf next weekend. Wanna join me??

  6. magnum,

what happened to the rest of the action photos? me and my guy pulled out at least 4 logs manually, then 1/2 dozen or so with the polaris 350 bb dragger?

i love fresh lumba! i think we should have pitched a couple doneks in there for the fumes! :barf:

    dtmfhyfp's

    barhp, barhp, barhp!

Those were the only ones that were somewhat in focus. The rest of the shots are a complete blur. I think someone slipped me a roofy in my pbr. Did we go to Clarks Trading Post that night??? Some of the pics appear to be the Wolfman wielding an axe and circus bears doing donuts on a 4 wheeler. Does any of this make sense??

  7. tripoli rd off of 93, about 5 miles off the highway t32's hunting cabin.

chainsaws, guns, axes, 4 wheelers, snow machines, patato guns, schlitz, pbr's, bud lightnings, cards, parliments, copenhagen, skoal, redman, camo, bonfire, 1 tons, 3/4 tons, 1/2 tons, 1/4 tons, 1/8 tons, barhp, barhp, barhp!

    :eplus2:

call myself or guy fatha for directions in. :AR15firin

Good times!! We started the night with 8 new recruits and ended with 0. I guess things didn't go over so well when they got lathered up in vaseline and tossed into the raging Pemi. their tee-ball mentality just didn't cut it for T32.....their loss. :flamethro

  8. i agree stud the e-riders have never seen themselves on video and think they are way beater than they are- really makes them sound like e-tards.....:AR15firin

    +1

Video is key. It can be pretty humbling. You're riding half the speed you think you are.

  9. stevo....email the link to polaris if you want analysis. it was a training session so I'm not gonna post it up now. I need to save the footage for another weak T32 video at the end of the season.

1:17pm Best quote of the day....from a random kid on the lift in response to some random talk about the cross-eyed & painless pirate.

You Got To Hit It and Quit It!!!

  10. what the hell...did photoshopdad1987 phishscam your logins and is now trolling the Loon/WV thread??? You gotta pay to play. Cut back on a few hobbies and get your priorities straight!! why do you think i started drinking pbr???

  11. Anyone from t32 looking to share a double at stratton. Or make a bigger group. example:2 doubles form into a 2 bedroom. A 2 bedroom can sleep four, five , or six at long trail plus it is a much bigger area to breath in. All it takes is a phone call to rereserve. I am there one way or another, I am trying to get some people together in a bigger room, Those doubles are kind of small.

Thanks for the offer but I think we're all set. Stevo, our Chief of Logistics/Security , has made plans for us to be staying at an undisclosed, off-site location.

JD--Is McChatta bringing up his quintessential seafood buffet??

  12. I think the pic on Loon's website was taken at Cannon. The wiffer went up today and said conditions were great, but still thin on Upper Boss & the free do-it-yourself-stonegrind gravel pit still exists by Camp III. They were blowin' snow on Upper Angel, Upper Flume, RumRunner, & RipSaw.

  13. Polaris,

Boards were dropped off @ The Speed Factory today and they'll be ready for Thurs. I'll try to have the hot dog lady make a special delivery for ya on Friday. He says he has some new structures for boards that are working out really well. The tune on my Rome Anthem softboot board is pretty sick...the grip on ice is redonkulous. Can't wait to see how the metal coilers come out!!:eplus2:

If anyone else needs boards tuned, I can git r done midweek.

  14. might be time to take down the signs "how to load a lift with crampons" and "please replace your divots"

They still need the signs on the East Basin. Even with all the snow, Big Dipper is still pretty thin between the bumps with lots of grass & free stone grinds. The gOoNs were in full force bombing that trail. What kind of wax do you guys use for grass??

Otherwise, everything else was looking good!!

  15. No snow at my place @ Exit 24 at 6am so we went back to sleep. Woke up an hour later to check the 7am ski report and saw 19" and practicly had a stroke. Loaded up the wif & gear and we were out the door in less than 15 min. There was still no snow all the way up to Exit 31 so we thought it was all a fkn joke. When we hit 32, we knew it was fo'real b'yatches!!! Downtown Linkin got bombed!! It was so surreal to go from nuthin to a dumpin in just a few minutes.

They defn got 12-18" of light fluffy pow on the hill. I got a sweet run down Triple Trouble just after ski patrol lifted the line. The drifts on the edge of the trail were easily 2 feet plus!! The ungroomed trails got tracked out pretty quick, but they were still pretty fun to bomb on soft boots. About half the hill got groomed to preserve the snow. These trails were buttery soft and great for carving on the softies.

More flurries for the rest of the week. Conditions should be improving on the Suck Meter @ Loon.

  16. If any of you guys are riding ova the next few days, the snow conditions are pretty fkn sweet. Get after it!!! The top couple inches are buttery soft and underneath it's hard but still no ice so it's fast. When you get the board on edge it just rails effortlessly. As good as it gets for manmade chum. RamJam was HERO t2b!!

JD stikkas were delivered this pm. I'll cya on the 1st.

  17. SWEET!! I can't wait to experience the sensation of a trail that doesn't have 4 different fall lines, off camber, humps, bumps, & chumps, divots, craters, ice chunks, and at least 3 different types of snow conditions all on the same trail.

I'm headed up to gOoN right now!! It makes u tough!!

  18. So did you guys decide to take today off and rack up your post count on BOL?

The snow was even harder & faster today compared to yesterday. No lift lines either. They were still pounding lower Flume and upper Boss with snow and guns were running on the lower half of Rampasture to cover up all the gravel/snow mix.

I'll be back on the hill Wed afternoon.

    :biggthump

  19. jd you forgot to mention that you were going extreme on Hero's Highway!! you fkn cliff hucka guy!!! only a goon mashole can get their pass pulled on that trail!! wtf is gonna happen if we stumble out of Camp III one afternoon at 4:00????

    barrrrp barrrrrp baaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrp

    :lol::barf::lol::barf::lol::barf::lol::barf::lol::barf::lol::barf::lol::barf::lol::barf::lol:

I have a Holmenkol stikka on my ski pod so that's what I use on my boooots. I've been waxin for years. in fact I wax all my gear including boots, pants, jacket, helmet, etc. the guys up at Sport Thoma told me back in 2003 that Bode was doin it on the WC so I figured if it works for Bode, then it should work for me. there's no more friction when I carve wicked hard and touch the snow. i'm so much faster now and you can get so looooow!!

Don't you get a BOL pin for your ski parka in recognition of 1000 posts??
