Another thing about the two bales are the thickness of the blocks. Step-in toe blocks are thicker by 3mm

I have experienced a front boot disengage once and would hate to hear you experienced the same. Please make sure the bale conforms to the contour of your boot for optimum fit. It's not enough to for it to grab the outer edges of the toe it should also cross the toe of the boot front ledge.
Upz boots fit exactly like that. Center of bale does not conform to boot like F2

Anyone want to part with 1 cant plate?

I wouldn't mind trying the soft red ones for comparison.
Make sure you get the right size tongues.
2 Sizes:
Small fits 23mp to 26mp (shell 279mm to 287mm)
Medium fits 27mp to 28mp (shell 299mm to 312mm) -

Snowburn, How is the heating in the thumbs? most heated gloves I have tried heat only the fingers but forget the thumbs. I need a solution since my thumbs are frozen 2 runs into the day.
Thumbs as well. Notice in picture how the heating element loops from backside of hand then loops around perimeter of thumb and fingers. Trust me you'll be happy with these gloves

Looking nice! I like the flex fitted hat too. Does the soft shell have a soft liner?

Thanks. I just realized that I replied to a post that was linked to an older thead. I got lost in the Matrix

I've seen this board in person and it's as nice as the pics show. The Carbonium top really makes the graphics pop and the edges and base are near perfect. Yeertha's a stand up guy and takes excellent care of his equipment.
I just received the board. All I can say is WOW! Nice friging board! 9.5 plus condition. Board was nicely packed with a foam wrap and extra cardboard corners tip and tail. Thanks Zack! @Yeertha

I see the color of e-rings are yellow. What color of e-pads under the bails are they Blue or yellow?

Some want soft (Carve Co. with loose bails), some want stiff (solid/thick aluminum), most want something in between.
I've mostly ridden TD3s, but am going to spend the time to get similar cant/lift on a set of F2s to give them a fair chance.
Keep me posted on your results.

MCC is a great place to get to see, touch and try a lot of amazing equipment. Also meeting a lot of great like minded folks and talking carving with someone who cares is priceless.
I'll have to see if I can take the time off work. I know I would have an absolute blast. I'm trying to convince a buddy to go

that's good to know thanks!

Thank you for the generous offer. I'll put a pin in it. Keep in touch.

If I had a set of standard bindings either Bombers or F2's would I have to remove intec heels? Is there interference with the side studs to the heel bail?

Are you coming to Montucky Clear Cut?
I'm seriously thinking about it.
4 hours ago, Carvin' Marvin said:The MAJOR problem I have with intec F2s and UPZs is that I can't move the boot far enough forward to get properly centered on the board. To get around this I just mount them sideways on the board and move them over to the proper position.
what size boot do you have and size of bindings?

I was mostly curious about the difference between TD's verses F2's
