  1. Yeah I'd agree with that, everytime I hid I've its like I go from pushing the front of my board to loosing the back end over ice. And going at insanely slow speeds makes me feel like I'm going to tip over
  2. Looking for a good slalom board potentially for my weight and size of 150 lbs and 5'9 currently on a kessler 162 but feel like it could potentially be too stiff for me
  3. Yeah according to the kessler website I'm right at around 30% the weight range for this size board Does this necessarily mean it's a bad board though?
  4. What are some feedback signs you might get from your board saying its too stiff for your body weight? Startibg to feel like my kessler 162 could either be too stiff for my 5'9 150 body or my technique still needs working on
  5. I first started on a 3/6 degree lift setup and found that to be too aggressive over the front taking a lot of weight off the tail of the board. Then I switched it around to a 6/3 setup which felt alot better especially having 60/55 angles coming from a 55/55 angle. The only problem with the 6/3 setup was that it felt like it put me a little more up right and made it feel like I had to push harder to get on my toes, basically made the board feel like it could only handle bigger turns. So now switching to flats today, I felt like I could evenly move my body around to get it to where I needed it so I could either be aggressive in shorter turns and a little more relaxed on bigger turns. any advice/experience helps to figure out how to get rid of leg burn!
  6. So tried flat binding today on my new board instead of lifts and it felt so much better! Only thing was there was a ton of front leg burn, can anyone tell me if I put a 3/3 lift front and rear will help with this before I go ahead and buy one. Mind that I have upz boots with a 6 degree ramp on them. -Nick
  7. Good advice! Lately I've been using a 55/55. Is there a difference if you pit the front at a higher angle?
  8. Looking for either a set of 0 degree plates or one 3 degree plate. Would be willing to trade q 6 degree plate as well
  9. I bought them from someone for my new board and he told me how he ran them which was almost exactly that setup im on except some inward can't. Figured it might improve riding
  10. Hi all, coming from a smaller than normal board (153) with flat binding that I ran 57/57 on and now on a 162 kessler. I'm 5'9. did a 55/55 3 degree toe lift front and 6 degree heel lift on td2 bindings with normal centered set stance. I set it up today and thought It would feel better and took and run and felt that I was so far forward to the point where I normally get forward aggressive to make turns that I would have no control of tail of board. What can I do to improve this??
  11. If anyone is in the area or planning to be and wants to shred alpine boards, let me know! -Nick
  12. So with that said basically you don't adjust the lift in the back by the spring? Just clarifying?
  13. How do you guys prefer to have your springs set on UPZ RC's?
