  11. lol don't stop there, get a WRX STi and you'll get first chair every weekend!
  12. go put your head back in its hole while all of our rights are stripped away, god forbid someone tries to stand up against injustice.
  13. powerstroke.org for the Ford diesel guys pirate4x4.com for hardcore off-roading used to be on NLOC and lightningrodder for ford lightning pickups
  14. yardsale: good luck man, your gonna need it. Going head to head with a$$hole cops is a tough road to take.
  15. wow, I hope he is being charged for murder. Note to self:don't carve wood in public in Seattle. One more thing that makes me hate Seattle even more.
  16. you should write up a how-to with some pictures if possible.
  17. all good advice here, only thing I would like to add is test driving, play with every freakin' knob and function of the car, SLAM on the brakes, FLOOR IT going up a big hill! taking it for a spin around the block doesn't create real life driving situations that we all deal with. If it is a manual, bang through the gears fast. If it is automatic manually shift up and down 1-2-D. Don't be afraid to put a car through its paces. If the dealer is with you, a good dealer will expect you to rod on it (to a limit of course). Acouple months ago we were car shopping and test drove a Kia, ran fine until I took it up a hill. When I floored it, it sounded like the engine was ready to explode but we didn't go any faster....gutless piece of crap.
  18. thats a great deal, when I was in highschool they had coupon books at the bank with 2for1's in each booklet. So of course I ran into the bank, stole about 30 booklets and ran out! I would find a "rich looking" skier in the ticket line and ask him to use the coupon....I rode for free all winter.
  19. damn, yesterday may have been free and I still had fun with Mark, but the weather was ROUGH! I'll be back though, nice mountain and a bit cheaper/closer than Schweitzer. I like the gondola too, there are always some idiots driving up/down any other resort I've been to. But when we were going up, got hit with a gust that damn near took my board out of that crappy aluminum box:eek:....board rode inside with me on the way down.
  20. the other boot was fine, wish I would have looked them over thoroughly like yourself, my fault for assuming $500 boots would be assembled correctly.
  21. thanks for the responses, I e-mailed bomber but I am afraid of having to deal with deeluxe directly. I'm guessing a warranty issue with an Austrian company would be a nightmare.
  22. forgot to ask, should I worry about it? I fixed the screw but should I repair the liner somehow? thanks
  23. Today was my 4th day on the new boots, it was pretty wet so I pulled the liners when I got back to the house to make sure they dry thoroughly and found this. Looks like the screw in the toe block was driven to deep from the factory. Needless to say I'm not stoked about a hole in $177 liners from a factory issue.:(
