  1. Prior 4wd 179, maybe 15 days on it. Nice base and edges, a couple small nicks on top sheet shown in pictures. Needs a tune has very light surface rust from sitting the last 2 seasons. Soft boot Plate system with medium (blue) center rings and Three degree cant plates. $350
  2. Trying to set up a dedicated softie carver, thanks!
  3. The boots are still for sale, did you see the other thread?

  4. I just watched that video...just run your butt up and down those stairs a few times.
  5. What angles would you prefer to ride with a waist that wide? Last week I put plates on my flow powder board and used the no overhang method for angles and it was about 25 degrees(no lift/cant/19" wide), rode pretty good but I would have liked some lift.
  6. Wish I could come back up this week! That snow was just starting to hit on Monday towards the end of the day. But the wind, cold, and trying to get my girlfriend to actually link turns carving made it a short day. Still got a few good runs in on vagabond. Loving the donek plate, my softboot buddies were complaining about the ice and my prior was railing!
  7. Russ I think you have my number, I'll have a radio on channel 1 as well.
  8. Heading up tomorrow, will any other hardbooters be observing the holiday? First day on the donek plate!
  9. One way to do it is wherever your boots don't overhang, depends on the board, rider's foot size.....
  10. what are your favorite runs for carving @ schwiz? (directed at anyone...)
  11. +1 on p90x, I'm on my 4th week and the chick at the deli counter was hitting on me last night....so results are good. haha
  12. People still listed to the prodigy? haha j/k I prefer Disturbed, basically the whole "Down with the Sickness" album when I work out. Funny thing is I'll listed to Norah Jones when I snowboard...don't judge me. Anyways, you're on track with the deep knee bends, basically one leg squat into runners stance and back up, 20 reps then switch legs. Then wall sits. Here is a guy with his shirt off jump roping, is that better? bwahahaha <object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJ1zB6xVMcc?version=3&feature=player_detailpage"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJ1zB6xVMcc?version=3&feature=player_detailpage" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="360"></object>
  13. oh yeah, lunges, wallsits, and more lunges. One of the the other amazingly effective workouts is jumproping if done properly. Skip to 1.29 where she shows doing two and two. This is one of the best cardios you can do. <object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsWui2L_r2c?version=3&feature=player_detailpage"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LsWui2L_r2c?version=3&feature=player_detailpage" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="360"></object>
  14. There are some good videos on youtube for doing a real waxjob. Preheating the base, letting the wax cure onto the board, scraping, brushing, structuring....I learned a ton just watching vids. Edge tuning is still a mystery to me.
  15. I'm one of the guys that got tired of beating myself up on rails/jumps. I have always loved powder/freeriding/carving as well. I had maybe seen one hardbooter in my life but it didn't even register as to what it was all about. When I went searching for a powder board and found the tanker, it led me to this site...the rest is history. haha Started snowboarding when I was 15 back in 1999 I think, I'm 27 now and this will be my 2nd season hardbooting.
  16. This has always been a fear of mine when I eat **** on my wakeskate but it has yet to be an issue...knock on wood.
  17. Well let's say.....fashionably late?
