  1. Boots are brand new, never used. Stock liners. $300 Send me an email at twiftiestv@gmail.com if interested.
  2. "You need to go about 40mph to pull it off..I can not do the Kessler on flat... only on a bank.." Now Id pay to see that.
  3. Happens all the time. Dont throw away the broken boots. Strip them down first...heel/toe strikes, buckles, tongues..everything...then chuck them. Parts always come in handy if not for you then for a friend.
  4. Dave, Stay far away from that 60 year old lady. Better yet run for your life. Hahahah.... wow....she is gone.
  5. Thank you for your contributions Mr. Gilmour. I've known this man for quite some time and lol..is far from a thief. The only thing Mr' Gilmour ever stole from me was my fresh air, due to the fact that he flatulated after eating a banana, and did so on purpose. Knowing that my life had been deprived of a few breaths of fresh air has not taken a toll on me yet. You should feel privileged that an accomplished athlete such as Mr. Gilmour is dedicating his time to providing you with information, such information he has acquired throughout his professional career as a world class snowboard and skateboard athlete. Or.... you can succumb to the trash of meaningless garbage that is often associated with forums and wallow in information that is generally useless. Thanks.
  6. Bobbybean, I can fix your board. Screw that helicoil crap. Ill take out the the brass inserts and replace them with steel inserts. I did it to mine and continued to put plenty of days on it. Better than new and still using it. Buggs, as far as preventing such problems..there are a few things that can be done. Using the correct screws with the proper length for the binding that is used. This most likely will require custom screws in some cases. Most custom screws wont have a thread lock....Id put no higher than a med grade thread lock on the screws and break them in on a steel insert 1st to avoid any accidental cross threading when putting them into the brass inserts. Any binding change overs on snow should be done carefully. I always used a coffee stirer straw to blow out all of the snow in the insert before putting a screw in. I also used a very short driver as it was enough to properly tighten the screws but not so much to over torque them and strip the insert or screw head.
  7. I guess you guys dont know Burril(he skools most everyone). Yea !..I was wondering what happened to you. Pm me
  8. Go easy on the "stripy" Madds. The insert areas on them models were not that strong....better yet not as strong as they should be. I'm not refering to the brass that was used on the originals. The "stripies" used a very small diameter based insert and the construction around that area had flaws.
  9. No problem Nekdut. Anything to help out cus the lord knows that I'll be needing a lot of help this season! If I can get good enough on a hardboot setup, I may try to make it to one of the carve sessions this year...maybe the ECES and have fun.
  10. Google images. What a dream..someone's living it.
  11. You will love the board. I would have to say that it is a board that you have had the confidence to go faster on. A 110 would be just as fast. That longer length will give you the stability at speed, which in turn relates to confidence and being more comfortable to push it further. Big boards can be a lot of fun. Let it run.
  12. As a newcomer to this forum, I really liked Jack's articles. I've read some of Bordy's stuff too and he definitely knows his shiz. Now, which direction are you guys steering me in? Do I get a metal or ride old skool? Is this new metal technology supposed to make me a better rider? cus I can skool on my old skool stick...which way do i turn? Oh dear...where is PSR when I need him?:p Can I borrow somebody's metal and show yis how it's done? oh geesh ..decisions..decisions.
