  2. I have the suit at our house if you want me to take any pictures of it.
  3. Yep it's a womens medium, its in good shape... I think she only used it 5 times in one season. Louis Garneau is the Brand (Canadian) Pop me an email ianmcdougall@yahoo dot com I'll try and put you two in touch.
  4. I may know of one if your interested.....i can ask her....
  5. That looks like fun. Anyone ridden one of these?
  6. Picked it up thanks for watching for me BOL Peeps!
  7. Todd, That sounds great!.... I have a pair of Rossi B4 Bandits in really good shape freshly tuned..... Can I trade you? :)
  8. ....but not hardened..... Have blow torch add graphite.
  9. I do both..... but my Kids (4,7,8). They all started skiing when they were 2. You can't do that with snowboarding. I started them snowboarding at 5 an 6, but only when they want... They just did their first race (gs) last weeked..... Now the 4 year old want to start this year... so I agreed (my wife says I am crazy because they are finally skiing/boarding on their own) But she is so cute I can't say no. Last year I had a trip out to Whistler... I skied only. When I lived out West... (seems like ages ago) I used to have snow shoes etc. i did some back country.... Went with a friend of mine on Skis and was getting lapped big time..... almost 2 runs to my 1. Access on skis is way better. As for which is more fun... in B.Country conditions a crazy carpet would be fun.... So I will take the extra vert.... As for feel..... nothing compares to the G's on the race board. So I will continue to do both. As to decline... look out... industry wide... Winters here are getting spotty at best.... All the boomers are slowly quieting ..... just not renewing memberships etc. Their kids are not bringing their kids... Despite the fact they themselves went every weekend growing up. They can't give 1/2 price lift tickets here away. At the same time we have to rely on more an more snowmaking, which is expensive. Lift regulations are becoming more stringent (which is probably a good thing) but it drives costs up. It is not looking good for the few of us that keep sliding. On the plus side my road biking season keeps getting longer.
  10. Couple of follow ups.... Any one know where I can find design weight range on the Burton Factory Prime 135. Has anyone seen an SG 126 go for sale used. I looked for the Virus 99 .... could find it on Virus's website. Also looking at Burton Protest 132.... stiffer free ride board.... may be a little more forgiving... for learning to rail it.... Ideally probably a boarder cross board in that range ... I think the Customs would work too any other suggestions Thanks so much for everyones help. Ian
  11. Thanks for watching out for me....

  12. Dave I would 100% be interested in those plates.... even if he didn't ride them this year... for sure he be on them next.
  13. Thanks for the info all. I am just looking.... I know any of the smaller stuff made is still around... most of us end up with it in our garages etc.... From the looks F2 current small bindings would work. Probably heavy for what he would need. (so I will look for the Burtons). As for boots.... most of the kids ski boots are super soft (he is in a race boot now, which i am sure would be too stiff) Board wise I am just trying to get a sense of what was made in the small range.... I don't even know if he would be able to crank a 135 Burton... if it is a slalom plank for a bigger rider. I guess a boarder cross board would be an option too. Thanks for your help. Ian
  14. Just saw it as sold..... Looking for a board for a 50lb rider at about 4'
  15. Any idea of specs for rider weight/height, and turning radius?
  16. My son is interested in getting on plates this year. He is about 50-55 pounds and 4' tall. He is a strong rider, with boot size of 21.5 (i think a lot of smalls bindings would fit his feet). I know Bruce made a board for Jessie... no idea what happened to that (in Ontario still?) Ultimately I think something like an Alp would be good for a start (did they make these in a 130 range?). Looking for idea's. Thank you Ian
