Here is a beautiful board that I bought from Big Canuck last spring so you know it is in great shape. I only rode it three times. This thing has tons of pop and is super light. The edges are fully tuned and ready to go with a 1 degree base/2 degree side. Recently waxed with the good stuff.
Only visible damge is one small ding in top sheet edge. See photo.
$300 includes shipping to lower 48 or trade for something similar that has a bit more width like 19.5-21cm.
Board has been traded.

OK-Looks like JOhn has hooked me up with a new toy. Thanks for the suggestions from everyone.
Now I just need to figure out how to stay out of the trees...:)

I like the fact that my resort has microwaves, drinking water, cups, spoons, and instant hot water which makes lunch options larger. On a cold day I love to have some hot soup and/or cocoa.
-
Having seen Nate firsthand I can attest that he can make that board do some cool stuff in the park and pipe.

Definitely a convert
, thanks guys!
Another member of the clan. Did you turn in your spiked belt, baggy pants, and bandana? :D
Price of admission so I here.

Some good comments in this thread. I am paranoid of getting hit when there are others on the hill. So much so, that it effects my concentration on carving and I back off. I do try and look for a "gap" and then hit that but every mountain will have some careless people bombing that can come from nowhere.
So far I have been lucky. I just try and avoid the more crowded times/slopes as best I can.
Seems like you have to strike a balance between defensive carving and letting it rip so you can link lots of turns at a decent speed.

If you want to have great flexibility, stronger core, and less back issues take up yoga. Two 60-90 minute sessions each week will do wonders for your carving and life in general. You can start slow and get deeper into the stretches as your body adapts.
Your wife/girlfriend will see a difference in you as well.:)

Bobdea- Dude sounds like you need to get out on the hill more often. Or if that is not possible find an outlet to keep your sanity. When I went through a messy divorce a few years ago I took up running.
Find what works for you.

Following up on last weeks poll regarding season pass prices with 36 responses here is a new similar one. I have noticed that at my local hill this season the number of people bringing their lunch/dinner/snacks is way up. They have an area for "brown-baggers" and it can be packed while the restaurants have empty tables.
What is your style?

if I wanted a board that was a handicap I'd go build one out of plywood.
 Here is hoping that one day I am good enough for this plan.

John-OK that may be just my ticket to ride. Please email me pics

Length looks perfect, not sure if I can handle a 23cm board easily. That seems like a lot of board to push around for a guy my size.

I have really noticed a difference with .5-1 degree of outward cant on my rear foot. I have not tried any cant on my front foot but probably should.

I have 28 mondo so am concerned about angles, but with an offer of a free test before I buy how could I turn that down.
Email sent.

Looking for something for wide open slopes like 180-185 length but in a 20cm waist width for my large feet. Weight is 185 pounds.
Help a brother out please!
-
I am interested in the Nidecker at your asking price if still available.
Just want to know the waist width?
178 is not made anymore so hard to find exact specs.
Email me ABridgeC1 at comcast dot net.

I was able to rearange my work schedule and now have EVERY Tuesday morning off work for the rest of the season!
:biggthump
This means I will be getting 3-4 sessions each week. Awesome!
Sorry, but I had to share this with someone and this seemed like the best place. :D
Now...if I can only get someone to sell me a big gun to take advantage of those big wide empty slopes. Something in the 180-185 range with a 20cm waist. Anyone?

Do you have any further dimensions on the Hooger?

You have to shift your weight front and back really fast, kind of like dancing or something. I can do it with some semblance of style but my legs get exhausted fast.
