  1. Really? My 28s weren't close to maxing them out.
  2. The TD3s are the shorter newer style.
  3. Td3 now available Td3 now available
  4. Boards and bindings still available.
  5. I have a pair of TD3s for sale. 3 and 6 degree cants standard bail. PM me if you are still interested.
  6. My new soft set up is a SG soul titan with Burton Genesis bindings. The split nature of the mounting disc and the binding limits the max front angle to 30-36 degrees. So I set my back foot at 25ish, for my hips and knees. The bindings allow for the most high back twist I have seen. They are also probably the best carving bindings I have ever used, stiff and responsive without compromising comfort.
  7. NSR, TD3s, cross, and maysis still available
  8. HAHA! no the cross doesn't count.
  9. Holding them till the boards sell. I don't want to be stuck with a board and no bindings left.
  10. Side of 182 NSR. The epoxy is covering it a bit as described above. I am 160/170lbs. The NSR always felt like it could take a little heavier of a rider than me though. Might have just been me though.
  11. The trimming I did was where the top part meets the heel strap. Originally that cuff hit and prevented flex to happen. So I cut that corner off. 303 is what is printed on the heel.
  12. Also adding a pair of K2 - Maysis boots to this for $100 - size 10 (but they are packed out and likely size 10.5) - only ridden 10-12 days
  13. They only care if you make a res and don't show. Otherwise they just stop you at the lift. The good news on the equipment side is that I am loving my SG soul titan. It rides like my alpines, but slower and with soft boots.
  14. I was there for 2 runs today, before I was stopped for not having a reservation. That was my bad. I just called it, rather than making a res on my phone. My feet were killing me already from being in the hard boots. Which lead me to this decision: If anyone local wants my gear (if I don't have to ship it), I will discount it.

    all sold

I am selling some gear. Time to get down to a reasonable quiver. sold - Coiler NSR+ ASM - 182cm long, 21cm Waist, UMP and 4 hole - less than 30 days on it (it was a large turn for small Midwest slopes, was amazing in CO though!) - $250 SOLD - Coiler VSR - 170cm long, 21 cm waist, 4 hole pattern - average radius 13m - this one is well ridden. it was my go to board. It could turn tight, ride soft stuff great, it was amazing. - $200 SOLD - Coiler VSR - 161cm, 21cm waist, 4 hole pattern - average radius super tight - this is amazing and the newest of the 3 boards. Official radius is 6.6+11. It is a tight turning bronco. I loved this board on cold days when I want the legs to work and keep me sweating. Might not be a great choice for a run a mile long. - $300 sold - 1 pair of TD3s for sale (plus extra parts) - $250. has a 3 degree and 6 degree cant disc. SOLD - Deeluxe Track 325 - 28.0-28.5 shells - These are cut and customized so the boot can fully flex. I also have a strap on there from a cracked set of heads. Extra parts comes with so you can get the fit perfect for you. - $100 Available - Volkl Cross 167 - $50 Available - K2 Maysis - size 10 - great boa stiff boot for soft boot riding. I actually have size 9 version. they run on the larger side. *I will cover shipping to US and Canada Boards are in great shape, with reasonable wear for their age and use. They have never been base ground. Edges tuned maybe 2-3 times a season with mostly diamond stones. The NSR and VSR have some epoxy on the sidewall to protect from boots rubbing the metal layer as you are skating. Photos below. I can send more detailed photos to those interested.
  16. The boss and I were out for a few hours today. Snow was OK, light was terrible. Bumps and dips all over made it really sporty. They were blowing snow, and they really need to. Rocks and mud showing through in places. We took the most runs in the meadows, which seemed to have the best groom and snow consistency. I am liking my new soft boot toy (SG Soul Titan 59). My hand still has a rod in it, so no hard booting yet. Although I am not really missing the hard boots much. Might be putting those up for sale sometime in the future. I had some fun on the Knapton too. Saw Tent laying down some turns. There really were no lines to speak of anywhere, which is nice.
  17. I was out yesterday for about an hour. I stayed on 2 the entire time, trying to shake out the cobwebs. I am stuck with just soft boots for now, do to the finger still being a kilbalb till at least mid Jan from the table saw incident. I couldn't get the hard boots buckled with limited hand strength in my left hand. Conditions were soft and variable. I was riding like crap, with about a million excuses for why. Easy 2, Murder bowl, and 5 were all open. Looked like 4 was running too, but didn't go over there. Guns were blazing everywhere. Wasn't too crowded though, and it was pretty easy to do hot laps with no real line to get on the lift. Reservations booked for Friday. Their hours right now for mid week at 1-9pm FYI
  18. Listen to the Q&A after the briefing last night. They talked about the spread numbers from gyms and athletics. For heating up boots, shove the boots open end up towards the dash of the car on the passenger side and turn the heat on for the for area. This always preheats the boots for me.
  19. I normally put my boots on in the parking lot before covid. Except when it is below zero. That is going to be the time when all this really hurts. Without warming up inside, I see a decent amount of folks taking a few runs while the car heats up (myself included). Gyms really should be closed. Did you see the numbers tied to gyms? I am really curious how the reservation system will keep people from over crowding certain areas. I see terrain parks still being a hot bed, unless they are going to spread them out. What if everyone who reserves a day wants to be on the same terrain?
  20. my seasons pass was well worth it at that price.
  21. Well, season is officially over. Pretty pathetic one for me with all the illness for me and the kids, plus the iffy weather. Hopefully better next year!
  22. Yeah. It is all good till something happens. In California we were clearing the line to start the chair, and a few of the chairs had blown onto the communication cable. If someone had started it before clearing the line fully it would have likely taken the coms cable and maybe pulled the cable off the shivs.
  23. I have seen some terrible things happen to chair lifts when operators and ski areas don't use good safety procedures. They really shouldn't upload without a top operator either, especially at a small hill where people can easily have hiked up. What if a kid hiked up and was hanging out up top when they fired it up? That has really terrible potential.
  24. Lifties shouldn't download, cause there should be a top and bottom operator at all times the lift is spinning for safety reasons. But there are chair clearing procedures to ensure the chair is cleared. Like roping last chair and waiting for it to complete a cycle.
  25. Looks like I'm out. Got the flu or something. Sucks, cause I was looking forward to this
