  1. Kirk, The Madd did sell. D-Sub, I am not blaming TV of anything because there are unknowns. I am using this as an example of what could have been. Chances are I screwed something up. If those posts were left up a prospective buyer/seller could search threads to see if there were good or bad transactions in the past. I am not trying to recreate the wheel or make things difficult. It just seems that there is a lot of money changes hands on this forum. Usually more money means more problems. BTW, D-sub are you the moderator? -Tim
  2. Question: Are threads deleted once an item has been sold? The reason I ask, I posted a response to Thor VonRippington's thread where he was selling a Madd 170. I asked him if he received any of the three emails I sent him through this site because I received no response or opportunity to buy this board. This thread has since been removed as far as I can tell. Leaving these threads up could be a way to create a feedback source on buyers and sellers. I not saying that TV did a wrong here, he may not of gotten any of my messages. But, if he did do a wrong it would be nice to let other people know about it. Just a thought -Tim
  3. Interesting way to handle the sale????
  4. Sent another email, haven't heard anything?
  5. So did you sell this on bomber or ebay? You seemed to be double dipping. I emailed and received no response.
  6. I have got a swwwwwweeeeeet Burton Ultra Prime 168 I'll trade ya. I just have to get it back fro the loser that got it. -T
  7. Milwaukee, We have group of guys and gals that race on monday nights at Tyrol Basin, S.W. of Madison. We are actually looking for another tem member? There are two solid teams of hard booters (15-20 racers). Most likely the best weekly competition in the midwest. Let me know if you are interested. -Tim
  8. I am interested in one pair but would like to see photos as well. -Tim tiobrien@hotmail.com
  9. Enny, I lived in Marquette for about five years and raced in the thurday night race league. I rode a Burton Ultra Prime 168 and did quite well. The speed series replaced the Ultra prime series as far as I can Tell. If you are only going to ride one board this is it. You can take it everywhere steeps to flats. If you are looking for a team for Thursday nights go to the ski school at Marquette Mouitain and ask for Brad. See if Hello Nasty has any openings, tell him Tim O'Brien sent you. By the way if you fly fish, Brad can show you the best fishiing in the midwest in not the country. -Tim
  10. I have a Burton 163 E-Deck Red top sheet. I have ridden it mabye 3 times. I was hoping to use it as a softie board but it is to narrow. I was thinking of putting plates on it but would be interested in a trade. I am looking for boots and a race deck. Let me know -Tim

  12. You are a rare breed in the U.P. I lived in Marquette and went to NMU for about four years. There is one other hard booter up there, Dave Magno. He will be out at the hill near the bar. As far as USCSA racing goes never saw much a few comps that were mainly freestyle with a small GS event. The best racing is Thursday night race league at Marquette Mtn. Great group of people in all skill levels mostly skiers but they are very open to snowboard teams. Contact B.K. (Brain Kerrigan) at the hill. It is also a great excuse (if you need one) to drink unreal amounts of beer.
