Alright, the showing is looking pretty weak. Only three booters including Wjholm. Remember, first thing tomorrow when you walk into work, complain of a slight tickle in your throat and cough a few time throughout the day. Continue this process all week, by Friday your co-workers will be begging you to not come in. Winter only lasts so long. -Tim

Bill, We will be at GP around 10 a.m. or so on Friday Jan. 30th. I will also be at the hill all weekend working with Special Olympics for their winter games. I am sure we will cross paths. I will be on a Burner 188 or a red Prior. -Tim

I cannot make the MES this year, but can make a day at Granite Peak. Anyone who is interested come out and ride. I think there may be a couple other booters from the Madison area. -Tim

J-Bonz, Where in the Milwaukee area do plan on riding? I am in Waukesha and ride Alpine Valley on Monday Nights. There is a race league there, more fun than competitive. But, it helps the winter go buy and provides a good excuse to have a beer during the week. Good luck in your hardware search. I agree with most of the other posts. -Tim

NMU There is a race league at Alpine Valley on Monday nights. We have 3 people on HBs with panel gates, Nastar format. Tyrol is better competition but I have switch to Alpine because of the drive, after all these are called beer leagues. Plus, I felt guilty alway beating up on $trider :) -Tim

It is Alpine Valley East Troy. I am trying out their race league this year. Have fun in the UP, Marquette does a great New Years Party NY style with closed streets and a dropping ball. We will have to get out and ride sometime this year. There is usually a Minnesota ES that is a great time. -Tim

Pebu, I grew up in Petoskey and riding Nubs and Boyne. There are booters around but numbers are declining. CarverChick I am moving to Waukesha from the Madison area. I have been racing at Tyrol for the last few years and am now looking to race at Alpine on Monday nights. Do you ride at Alpine? How is it? -Tim

Taiga, I grew about 10 Min. form Nubs Nob in Harbor Springs. There should be a few guys still riding plates in the area, I know of one for sure. Just keep riding and you will bump in to someone sooner or later. NMU and Indainheaders I will be heading up that way the first weekend in Feb. if you want to make some turns. NMU, if it doesn't work I am sure I will be in MQT at some point. I lived there for about 5 years and make it up at least once or twice a winter. Tell that other carver (assuming it's Magno) that Tim said Hi. -Tim

I own a Rossi WC 170 and weigh about 190 and rail it quite hard. No signs of breaking yet. The board may be up for sale soon. I picked up a Prior from the fire sale at Tremblant but UPS delamed it. I am waiting to get the claim settled before I make a move. BTW, UPS is being a real pain to work with on this. -Tim
