Cold, but not life threatening. Ridable, but firm. Not a lot of people, but the ones who were there were aiming for me. JP1, great day , I had fun. tomarrow is a possibility, but still TBD. JP, Bring an all mountain rig ,as the forecast is for anywhere between 15-36" in the next 4 days, depending on who you listen to. Also, It's really cold, with wind chill below 0 in the middle of the day. I'm shooting for Loveland on thursday, I'm in red and black, and maybe on tele skis if it's a powder day. Look forward to it.

Not as cold as forcast today, the groom was very ridable. Pc and I were the only regulars , a few scruffy mongrels trenching about, interlopers, the unclean. PcDever was driving the welcome wagon as usual,if fact he drove it right over several unsuspecting civilians. A good time was had.

I have a pair of Oxygen Krypton O2 liners , size 26, that came out of a pair of boots I've got thermo fit liners in. I cut the stiching at the toes to fit my feet better, There is no material removed from the liners. The stiching coud be redone or even taped and they would be just like they came to me. Good to very good condition. You pay shipping and they are yours, I try to post photo's tonight

Arrived at 11am, I know Pete,LATE . Nobody there. Groom was just starting to soften to a predictable tooth , extra firm in the shadows. Rode till 1:15 , when the conditions were extremly consistent. It was like Carvageddon, no one there, the Rapture..........looks like fire cut will be open soon, makbe 2-3 days

I'm thinking about going up for a couple hours tomarrow, anyone alse game?

If your used to east coast conditions, it's pleasant .No offense, I grew up in the Adirondaks. I would say it's comparable to Hunter Mtn. in late Dec , Early Jan, but no ice. It's very ridable and I would expect that by the time you arrive things will have filled ouy nicely,and you'll not have the present holiday crush.Last year in the first week of December we got about 2 or 3 feet of snow, but thats Colorado , you never know

PC loaned me this board when I was just starting out carving and still in my first year of snowboarding of any kind, I weighed about 160 then and I was just fine . You could ask PC what days he road this board and he could tell you excatly, he keeps a detailed log of everything, the board is a winner, you will not find a better board at a better price,period.

I saw on your post, you guys ride West mountain. I grew up in Lake George. Do you know is Hickory Hill is reopening ? Best regards, pray for snow!

Its snowing in the mountains , it has been snowing in the mountains and by Gods leave it will continue to snow. Is anyone else getting a bit restless ?

The guy is in the backyard throwing bags of chips over the fence, what are you doing to do ? , mince on down there and say " hey man that's totally uncool, I need you to respect my boundries ." The guy set the playing field , way to play Fin.

The high peaks are still in , as is Wyoming . Mt. Evans recieved enough snow to close the highway on tuesday and wensday. I expect that things will hold through june............Best of luck!

How does a ten year old girl moving zombie slow come out of nowhere and nearly hit me when i'm going roughly 35 mph? Answer , I'm traveling Pi times the distance she is. 35/3.14=11.14 mph. A zombie snowboard girl moving 11mph in a straight line will intercept a carver going 35 in an alarmingly brief amount of time. Something to be considered in these troubling times of springbreak. Yesterday was a blast! Thanks to all who braved the infestation to ride and triumph over mediocrity. I'm in for tomarrow " god willin' and the Creek don't rise"

yesterday was Blistering cold , 0 and 50 mph winds at top of chair 8, Pc and I did laps until 12:30, BUT, More to the point, Sunday was really great, good company and terrific to see so many of the flock on my home mountain. Mario: the food was really , really fantastic. I've spent my adult life in search of the holy grail of BBQ , I once drove from denver to miami eating BBQ at ever place I could. This meal was epic , the combinations were well thought out and the flavor pairings sophisticated , sublime. A nod to tradation without cliche , the beans held the picnic standard while introducing a fresh prespective to the the old legume. I particularly enjoyed the brisket/ coleslaw pairing. The slaw was light , with a vinegar marinade that cut the fat content of the brisket , brillent. Mario , construction is a waste of your talent.................. Bola: Thanks for your generous setup of Demo boards, this is why the mom and pop business ethic survives the internet age . I enjoyed riding the Blade and look forward to seeing you in the future.
