Last year there was a group of 5-7 master riders. On the first alpine day this year we didn't have any show up. Come out and see if you can beat us "old guys". There are also 4 or 5 younger riders who travel around and do USSA races. It is fun (and a little depressing) to compare your time to the different groups.
Registration is from 8-9:30. Registration will close at 9:30 so try and get there early. Some of the guys are quite fast and some just starting out. A good day for me is: if I can post a faster time than my 13 year old son. As my son would say "You are only a legend in your own mind". He can talk the talk but we will see if he can ride the line. See you all at WV.

At the fist NH alpine event we had 6 legend men and 2 kahuna. I am going to try and jump in as well this weekend ( I am a legend man). Hope to see you all there.

There is a USASA GS/SL race this weekend at Waterville. We will be doing a GS in the morning and a SL in the afternoon. The series usualy draws about 50-60 riders of all abilities for an alpine event. Check out the USASA website for info, www.usasa.org and go to the NH Series.
There is a NH Series GS and SL at Sunapee. It is a dual event. We will run one race in the morning and one in the afternoon. The price for a dual event is usually $60 if you need a lift ticket and $40 if you have a pass. See usasa.org and link to the NH series for more info. There are usually 50-80 people of all abilities at these races. If you think you are interested come out and give it a try.
