  1. dropped my heavy Volant Excel 173, so now it's delaminating at the contact point and the base is a bit crushed. It definitely looks salvageable though if you scrape out the base, refill with material and close up the gap where the steel topsheet meets the edge. Does anyone know of anyone who can fix this for me cheap? I know I could do it myself, but I don't have the tools, especially a grinder. I would appreciate any help. I live in San Jose. Thanks to all and have a happy holiday.
  2. The narrowest production boards by Burton were 18 cm wide, so these fit just fine with lots of room to spare...
  3. Check out e-Bay item #s 110082266884 and 110082267102. These get harder and harder to find every year...
  4. ...any pics and specs (especially waist width)? Thanks.
  5. Season seems soooooo late. Should I even bother getting my Northstar pass now and chance it this weekend, or wait another couple of weeks? I'd hate to pay 6 bills for 5 lifts and 10-tourist packed runs...any feedback would be appreciated. Maybe another resort has better conditions and crowds right now (i.e. K'wood?). Maybe I have to wait until the new year...
  6. Does he have a website? How are his prices? Is there a shop/streo that carries any of his products? Any info would be appreciated...
  7. Perfect for you guys who ride the big boards when you travel. Check it out on e-Bay, item # 110058767015. Thanks.
  8. Did you order them that way from UPZ, or from another hardbooter? I wish I bought mine already modified... There's a Virus edition to the UPZ boot? Small world...
  9. Sorry, what is the relationship between Virus and UPZ boots? Are they the manufacturer? The plastic toe ledge on the UPZ boot line is my concern, since the screws holding them to the boot may wear and strip out.
  10. I would appreciate any detailed instructions on how to make the toepiece more secure on this boot model. I know a few of you have already accomplished this with inserts and hardware that bites right into the shell, but I don't know the exact details on how to accomplish this. Any advice would be appreciated for saving my knees on the hill, and preventing a possible binding failure. Thanks for listening...
  11. I am in the process of setting up an international database for potential clients and students, so I would like to request anyone who is interested in instruction to send me their contact info, typical availability (e.g. dates, days of the week), and hourly rates. I don't care if you are in powder heaven, mainland China, or Cherry Hill, NJ, I just want to know there are resources out there. If you are interested in signing up, please leave an e-mail address. Thanks.
  12. Does anyone have any detailed instructions on how to t-nut my UPZ toe piece to my boots? Paranoid now...and not very mechanically inclined, at least when it comes to putting hardware in plastic. Any help for the rest of us would be greatly appreciated.
  13. Can you give me instructions on how you did this to the toe pieces? I am still not convinced that I have to, but better safe then sorry, according to some of the postings on this forum. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
  14. Don't think I have everything you need, but I do have some round 3D cants left with the circulare plastic. I think I have a wedge type, too, but all are 3D. $25 each shipped. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks.
  15. any major issues with it? scratches, dings, dents, p-tex, repairs? How many days on it? Thanks
  16. Help out a heli junky and lead me to the goods. If anyone knows anyone who knows anyone who has one in their store, please let me know. I am looking for something brand new, and at least in the high 170s or low 180s in length. Any Nitro Sabers out there? Please help. New Zealand is only a few months away. Thanks in advance.
  17. Looking to buy a pair, but I don't know what size. Their sizing system is retarded. An M/L goes up to a size 9 boot, but a large starts at a 9 boot. I'm inclined to go with an M/L for less material weight, but I am worried about my boot not fitting (I ride DC boots). Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
  18. type in item #7231301604 on e-Bay for these Burton Cartels at a great price!!!
  19. $25 shipped sounds good. These are circular, though, not the wedge type. Thanks.
  20. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...item=7215100429 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...item=7215102392
  21. I almost cried when I posted these... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7215100429 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7215102392 But alas...bills must be paid :(
  22. Any takers? $20 each, shipping included to continental US...elsewhere and I would have to add shipping costs.
  23. I want to know the effective edge length. I heard this board rides a lot shorter (like a 155?) because of the looooong nose, and that kinda worries me...I'm 220 lbs.
