  1. ...the round 7 degree ones. They provide toe and heel lift AND canting. And I ride with my back foot at a slightly higher angle than my front, too. Why would the Burton cant make a difference?
  2. Knee pain, knee pain, knee pain...from years of weightlifting, sports, and riding. So does anyone have any info relating stance angle to knee damage OR wear and tear? I typically ride high angles (anywhere from mid 60s to 90/90 for my skwals). Has there been any discussion regarding the different areas of the knee impacted by specific angles? With my skwals, I've developed a pain on the inside of my knee on the front leg. I don't think about it too much while riding, but at the end of the day, and the day after, it can be debilitating. Any feedback would be appreciated.
  3. I ride with a cant on both feet. Would that affect the performance of these? just curious...
  4. ...yes, that's what I am talking about. When I stop, my back foot starts swinging around. But the big mystery is that it depends on the board. On my regular race boards, I stop fine, applying pressure equally on both feet. However, with my narrow boards (I have boards with a 10.5 cm, 13 cm, and 16 cm waist), I observe this spin-out phenomenon. I am think that my high stance angles (90/90 on my 10.5 cm) may be causing me to pressure my back foot more? I was hoping that moving my stance closer to the tail would take care of this...
  5. ...my board likes to turn around and go backwards when I come to a complete stop? I'm thinking that my stance may be too far back and when I pressure the edge to stop, my there's too much pressure on my tail, but I'm not quite sure...
  6. No one seems to have half sizing for the Head boots I want, just full sizes. I wear a 26.5, and on-line retailers only have 26 and 27 available. Can someone recommend a size for me, since I can't try these on? Can I go with a 26 and just hope for sufficient packout? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
  7. may be interested in the bindings with the uni-cant and 4 x 4 disks...
  8. ...if they have any at all. But if you do find some, let me know. I really appreciate it.
  9. Check it out on fleabay, item # 110232267940
  10. I need a pair of the old school rat trap binding and a pair of 4-hole disks. Not just the standard 4-hole disks, but the offset 4-hole pattern made specifically for the Burton cants. If you have any of these, I would be interested. They're pretty old, but I am hoping someone on the forum has some of these, and would be willing to sell. Thanks.
  11. ...the old, non-adjustable round style, not the wedges, 3 or 7 degree...
  12. I'm interested depending on their condition...
  13. what is the waist width of the plasma? thanks.
  14. I have two of them for sale. $30 each, shipping included for anywhere in the US. Elsewhere on the planet and I would need your shipping address for an accurate quote.
  15. And by best, I mean great quality at a reasonable price and turnaround time. Thanks for any feedback...
  16. http://www.f2snow.com/2005_6/boards.php?choice=SPEEDSTER-RS Barely used, and in excellent condition. All reasonable offers will be considered (retailed for about $600). Thanks.
  17. This was literally used twice, and is in excellent condition (9.5/10). It's a 19 waist, and I'm going a bit narrower. It's the same as this board, only longer, and a bit stiffer. All offers will be considered, but I paid over $500 for it.
  18. since it's softer, is it going to fold for a 210 lb rider, even if it is a 180?
  19. Hey Shred, when you say "softer flex", are you saying that it was custom made softer than the standard 180, or that the 180s all typically have a softer flex? I've ridden the 170, but wanted a bit more. I don't want it to be slower, though. Definitely interested...let me know. Thanks.
  20. Does any body still make these? I think Volant stopped years ago. So who's got the most unique topsheet for alpine boards out there? Need to beef up the quiver with some aesthetic decks...
  21. Hey Scott, thanks for the message. Do you own a shop and are you open on Sundays? I'm thinking I can just drop by on a Sunday afternoon and let you take a look at the damage. I drive by Benicia on the way home to San Jose, after riding in Tahoe on the weekends. Let me know if you are available. Thanks, and have a great holiday season.
