Noticed this crack on the outside of my right (front) boot after riding this morning. And, after closer inspection, found another crack starting in a similar spot on the inside of my left boot. Figure these are pretty much toast at this point, but was looking for input on if these are safe to ride. Not sure I've got enough time or $$$ to pick up new boots before I fly out to MCC.

Don’t forget to bring a pow setup!
Am I gonna have a tough time without one? I've never even ridden anything resembling real powder, forget owning a dedicated setup...

I use STARE, DOUGH, WIMPY. But, same idea.

Try Quordle if you want a slightly harder word puzzle.
I actually find Quordle easier, for some reason. I guess a trio of three words that have no letters in common and then can usually just write in the 4 words to finish in 7.

I start with STARE. Streak is going strong at 273, with a 3.8 guess average. In hard mode.

I'll have to get up on a Wednesday morning then!
Saw a black Kessler with TD3s on the rack out front on my way out this morning. That wasn't you, was it @patmoore?

We started using GitHub Copilot at work recently. Pretty amazing how useful it is already.

Anyone still riding Wachusett these days? Been getting up there a couple mornings a week after years of not riding. Haven't seen a single other alpine board yet this season.
-
Bump and price drop.

I've replaced the wonky cant disc with a new one which now sits tight against the board. Bindings are ready to ride!

Showa 282-02 Winter Glove
These remind me a bit of the Joka gloves/mittens that were standard issue when I worked at Sugarbush on the snowmaking team a while back. They were super warm and very durable, but the insulating liners got nasty real quick.

Any chance you want to sell some parts? I need a 3 degree cant disk and a set of yellow e-rings.

Mine are tight, try switching e-rings to see if it tightens then maybe disks.
Good thought. Swapped the e-ring, no change. Swapped the cant disks and that seems to be it. Must be slightly warped. Thanks for helping to diagnose!

With binding off board is there any play between the teeth of the cant and the disk as on might be worn or warped.
Yes, there's a bit of play between the two. But I assume the tolerances on these parts isn't that tight and relies on the compression of the rubber e-ring for holding everything in place? The front one has the same amount of play and doesn't budge once it's all snugged up.
-
Nope, definitely a completely TD2 setup. There wasn't any play when I last checked them (last season). And the front is solid. Here's a video: https://drive.google.com/file/d/15SsKudRl_fAyU3LTpuo62MkWIY7JntWE/view?usp=sharing

Was messing around with my stance yesterday evening (because what else do you do when you just registered for MCC and there's no snow yet?) and noticed that the cant disk on my rear binding has a bit of play in it. The center disk is tight to the board, but the cant disk isn't. Do the e-rings eventually compress and need to be replaced?

That'd be me. It was good to get a couple of turns in with another hardbooter!

Bump.
Anyone want this? I mostly just want to get rid of the thing...

I've got an old Burton Amp 6.0 that I'd like to get rid of. It's in decent shape, but is pretty old and has lost a lot of its camber (though I'm not sure how much it had to begin with). Not really looking to get a whole lot for it, mostly just want it out of my apartment. Maybe in the neighborhood of $30 + shipping? If that doesn't sound fair, make me an offer...

Looking for an Intec retrokit (toe block and heel receiver) for a TD1. Would be interested in trading for my existing toe and heel blocks, plus a little cash. I'm hoping to retrofit my Bomber skiboard bindings, I believe the blocks are slightly different, but should still be interchangeable. I'd also be willing to pay for them outright.
-
Sweet. I'm there. I'll drive myself out there if I have to, but carpooling sure would be nice... I'll split gas and tolls. Anyone game?

Actually, I was referring to this text, which was in the "Weekend Update" that you posted a couple of posts up:
Season pass holders from another mountain are invited to come skiing or riding at Jiminy this spring for just $10 when their valid 2007/2008 season pass from another area is presented at the Crane Lodge Ticket Window.I was just trying to find confirmation of that on the website, but couldn't, so I was wondering where that text came from.
