You don't see it untill you look down at it. I personally don't event look at till I'm at the bar.... But it is a HUD. It's a very small LED screen with a concave glass orb to angle the light correctly so it doesn't look distorted. Works great in my opinion.

Did they go back to working for Kessler yet? Great boards from what people say. I never see them being used in races; only Kesslers. Is it the price? Somebody said those have to be given to you in order to own one.

Having a Facebook app built into the unit makes me me sick. That's just plain stupid.... But you can just turn it on and let it record everything for review off mountain. I just turn it on and let it do its thing. I use the clock for the most part anyway. I like to know when its beer o'clock.

I have the first gen ones from them. Very nice toy but not really needed. What I like most about them is the tint/color and shade happens automaticly like transition glasses. No need for the battery to be charged. These new ones are nice but I have no need to see my text messages when on the slope. I think it has a video camera built in as well.

Well its gonna be Goon Mt. This weekend if they are even open. I'm getting tire of this warm weather even though it keeps the oil bill down.

I was wondering who was riding besides me and Jason B. Saw your boards all locked up like they were Kesslers. Those race boogers almost hit me multiple times. But I'd have to say meat gates keep it fun.

Get on any plate. It made my heelside way better. It takes about a day or two to get used to. Skid stopping gets a bit harder but makes your turns track better. Just buy one; they are worth the money. I felt the difference just standing in the lift line with my leading foot locked in.

Well my Recon goggles that I showed you said 64mph down comp hill. Too bad I never uploaded it. Guess I'll just have to come up there again and prove it. :) But I wasn't carving so I guess that don't count....and whats a race board if you ain't going full tilt?

I have a can of that liquid plastic stuff for tools. Haven't used it yet on the gloves. Was gonna wait till they were a bit more rough so it will absorb better.

I use them all year long, that must be the problem. Leaning into my rake and shovel ect. Lol. I do time to time fall back into bad habbits. Plus the cherry from the pipe burns through the level gloves and not the leather Kincos. Versitility is what I need.

Kinco's wont fall apart trust me. You can soak them in liquid wax or oil and they will be waterproof as well

Well mine did. I was riding at Sugarloaf on a VERY icy day so that might have been the problem. Dont get me wrong, they are nice looking and very warm. but I like the $12 dollar specials.

They fall apart very quickly. I had a pair and burned through them in two days. You can take the protective part and put it in a pair of these. http://www.kincoworkgloves.com/lined-leather-palms/the-original-lined-grain-pigskin-gloves/ They will last a lot longer than those $60-80 range gloves for sure.

Stan & Dans is good with boot fitting. They may be snobs or whatnot; but I dnt go to shops for a feel good attitude. Just good work. Also if your looking for decently priced gear such as jackets skis and boards (non-alpine) check out the ski & snowboard liquidation center on the strip. It's next to Dunkin doughnuts.
