  2. Ok so it is true if you were traveling in a car at the speed of light (anyone , anyone) and you turned your headlights on, would they do anything. So as long as the electrons are pushing.. all things held the same.. vector quatities should add together so yea, your lights would actually be beaming fast than the speed of light..

Or would just shine backwards out of your trunk.

All I know is my space ship ,,which travels at warp 5 max, before the governor kicks on ,,Xenon Obluvial Hextagal photo cells work!

But if I slam on the brakes, theres a pause in light generation until it catches back up.

    What does yours do.

  3. Ja discovered in 1880 by Peirre and Jacques Curie. They actually remained a phenom until about 1940, there actually cystals and exhibit electrical charges under mechanical loading. unitil the 1950's they were of little use and started to be used electrometer tubes and then were commercialized then the charge amplifier priciple was patented by WP Kistler in 1950 and gianed pratical significance in the 60's. The introduction of MOFSET solid state circuitry and the developement of insulating material such as Kapton propelled the use of Piezoelectric sensors into all areas modern technology and industry.

Piezoelectric Measuring systems are active electrical systems. That is the crystals produce an electrical output only when they experiance a change in load, they cannot perform true static measurements. But when Quartz transducers, when paired with the adequet signal conditioners, offer excellent quasistatic measuring capabilities. There are countless examples of applications where quartz based sensors accurately and reliably measure quasistatic phenomena for minutes and even hours.

There are two types, high and low impedance. High impedance units have a charge output that requires a charge amplifier or external impedance converter for charge to boltage conversion. Low impedance types use the same element as the high impedance and also incorporate a miniaturized built in charge to voltage converter. They also require and external power supply coupler to energize the electronics and decouple the subsequent DC bias voltage from the output signal.

Most Kisler sensors incorporate a quartz element that is sensitive to either compressive or shear loads. the shrear cut is used for multicomponent force and acceleration measurements. Other specialized cuts include the transverse cut for some pressure sensors and the polystable cut for high temperatue pressure sensors.

The finely lapped quartz elements are assembled either singly or stacked and preloaded in some manner. The quartz package generates a charge signal, measured in picoCoulombs(not KillingtonCoulombs), that is directly proportional to the sustained force. Each sensor type uses a quartz configuration optimized and ultimatly calibrated for its particular application, e.g. force , pressure, acceleration or strain.

Dynamic behavior, Piezoeletric sensors for measuring pressure, force maybe regarded as undedamped, spring mass systems with a single degree of freedom. They are modeled by the classical second-order differential equation.

    hope this helps!

  4. Ja, funny,, since im such a pack rat and save most brochures I get I'll look cause I got this same brochure about 4 years ago when I recieved a pair of Proflex race titanium bindings.. The boots were like a UPS Asling make. never saw dem in person doe.. If I have the exact year I vill tell ya.. Just guessin its about 4 years old.

  5. Ja, I hope I don't get fined by the dang yahoos in Congress!

There is soo much wrong mit utter boots dan Raichles, they are only ones whoo understand how da bukels should be made and how impotent the middle buckle is to have freedom to bend at that all impotent ankle buclkel thats why it still has the wire cords instead of a strap ,, those darn straps stop your flex and any other buckle than the ratchit type pop loose as you verk your boot.

****ing stupid boot mfg's they just don't get, it they slap a snowboard heel on it and call it a snowboard boot.

Lets god dam dezine one before the world gets sucked into a vacuum!

Don't get me started, Ja I mean it!

  7. Atomic Team bag is huge but be careful on da wait, because da charge you pletty! Atomic SuperCross Monster 3 Pair or More Padded Wheeled Ski or Snowboard Bag holds a minimum of three pairs of skis up to 211 cm. long or six to ten snowboards (without bindings). This large skibag is fully padded.

http://www.shop-of-skiing.com/skibags.asp also look at some bags here one doulble ski bag goes up to 212cm made by Fisher I use a volkl but only need to go up to 201 works well and very stealty when going through ticket counters,,"Skis? Yep! ok then go right on through!" Big snowboard bags get hassled everytime!

Give me your info on this place, I am still thinking Flims Laax is my best bet for ease and proximity and how big it is and vertually unkown and have desiganted carving slopes,

any one know about that place?

    Thanks in advance Pokey!

  10. Europe! Nobody has come close to convince me the grooming is even as close to North America, Id be going to Europe for the fact that I gotta do it once.

But Snowmass has been in my sights for a while, and well now that I got a real job, $$$ don't matter, definitly ski in ski out is the way to go! Im almost there and looks good! I always like something new! Been to most of the Canadian resorts and most are good and no crowds and cheap, relative term!

Schweitzer, Sand Point Idaho! that one! you might as well drive 90 miles and your at big Mountain...Schwitz is no where near the size but a very nice place! It would be worth the trip but its not big, if you expect that!

Snowmass is now in the lead, I was thinking Flims Laax Falera in Switzerland is now Second and Sun Peaks Canada now third.

    Thanks

    Shred:)

  11. Vell, I had a ton, but forgot most of dem some are the following!

Japanease= Irean Over. American = Ilean Over, Chin So lo, Leider Hosen! Frank Instein. goes on and on and on! Hans Solow.

Well I just need to think a bit they'll come ta me!

  12. I kinda wanted to go off the beaten path that is a secreat spot! Like Big Mountain Mt. when you can see, the grooming and the width of the runs are awesome, still the best I have been on, if you factor in everything, crowds , wide trails, always snow, soft groom usually. cons: visibility, visibility, visibility!

Im leaning away from Aspen cause of shear number of peaple and the exspense of Snowmass when I tried to put a package together found I could go to western canada twice for the price of snowmass for a week. did I say I hate crowds!

But yea, I know that Mass and Butter are gems? are there any other secret spots? Purgatory? Steamboat? dunno?

    Anything in Utah?

    Tahoe?

Maybe I should just try it for one year! Hell its something new! Maybe the SES next year!

Thanks for the repy! I love this site, no one ever replies from those other ones, I won't mention them cause I don't want to piss off those EC guys who never answer I guess the members don't ride anywhere? hmmmmmm!

    Shred:)

  13. Ja, so would you rectum mend dis resort to da carver for 7 days? Im considering returning back to da main land and ride in da states next year for my week long vacation?

    To hell you ride!

Give me da skinny on whats groomed , how much? is it wide, croweded ect. is it ski in ski out , where to stay ect.

Im looking for something different, anyone have other suggestions for out west. something good mit groom but not crowded, no need to night life I'll make my own!

Anyone? eye have been to Sun Valley, Big Mountain, so what should be next?
